X-Men: The Last Stand on DVD October 3

ARGH! Does anyone know if there will be a 2 disc of X3 in the next year? Like officially? Cause I need to know before I waste my money on the fake two disc from Wal-Mart

you know i keep hoping for a DC or X4? just get a walmart edition.

The Fox employee who warned everyone early about the X3 DVD deleted scenes screw up said the "second special edition would be released "later next year." But who knows when that'll be.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing  I also like the 2nd disc. Did you see the footage of the cast at the Cannes premiere yet? What I found funny, was that Ratner basically dumped his date (who already looked annoyed in the limo earlier) at the premiere, and later had Halle on his arm the entire time, lol.

No problem ;)
Lol I haven't noticed that... and it actually happened:whatever: his attitude is dethpicable. I mean, come on, the joke is over:o Stop using the crotch to think.

Isn't he cuuuute:oldrazz: (a pic from Ratner's diary)

Btw, when I finish with the movie caps, would you like some 'making of' screen caps?

Retroman, where did you see the Nov 14th date for the Brazilian DVD? I can find it, and I wanna be sure, because the latin america 2 disc version could be released the same day, or at least I could buy the Brazilian.

Two new X3 dvd competitions where cool prizes can be won for Latin american fans.

My friend pre-ordered this one as well, it comes with the T-Shirt. Hope it arrives earlier, just like the SR DVD.
I didn't pre-order mine, I'll probably lose the t-shirt thing. I won't buy the dvd anyway, not paying R$54 on a dvd of a movie I won't watch repeatdly :p Meh, i'm more obssessed with getting a huge cardboard cutout of the movie that I saw on Blockbuster than getting the dvd. I'll really pass this one. But I want that cardboard

 Thanks, I couldn't see the Nov 14th date anywhere. It took me forever to look at the little box in the right side with the 14 and the movie next.

Damn, www.foxlatina.com (latin america version) doesn't have the info in the coming soon page. It has the details page, though, and unlike the brazilian version, it lists the deleted scenes... and there are just 2! Alternate version: Jean displays her power at the emcampment and Alternate version: Guard yells at the President.

Yes, it arrived to me yesterday. The release date in Brazil is November 9, but those who pre-ordered got it sooner from Warner. But what surprised me the most is that it was Fed-exed on Monday and arrived the very next day here in Greece!

It comes with a nice cap (my friend says it is limited to the ones who pre-ordered), one set of stickers and another set of fridge magnets.

Thats a cool looking set except the cover of the dvd.

For those of you who want a 2 disc edition, buy the UK edition. When the US special edition comes out, it'll be the same thing. I live in the US, but I still bought the UK edition. It is right on par with the X-Men 1.5 and X2 DVD's

for the people who've got the 2 disc, how are the galleries? with pictures and concept art?

like this:

Speaking of art concepts here's something I 'found':
Kittysavingsomebody.jpg

Did I miss something? 0_o Seems like Kitty is saving the President's bodyguard or something

I'd say it's part of the sequence in which Kitty, Beast and someoene else (Iceman?) invade the cure building, to see what is the cure all about. Apparently, Ratner changed that scene for the Beast/Rao/Leech talk.

K-k-k-k what? Really? God... that's a shame... it would've made everything much exciting, even better. btw, looks like Kitty's rear is... growing...

I'm not that sure, been a while since i read the aicn thing, but If I can remember correctly, there was a scene like this in the second act.

Here it is:

Beast has an interesting scene with Iceman and Kitty Pride when they infiltrate the Worthington company to decipher if the advertised mutant cure is for real or not. If done right, it could be one of the best sequences in the first two acts. The key will be getting Beast's super dexterity to a realistically believable level. The script describes his movements as:
"breathtaking to behold. He is beyond agile, a blur of acrobatic blue fur. He works his way through the final gauntlet of security, and enters the main lab, where he snatches a sample of the cure."

funny how when I just read this script again, all the scenes the guy mentions as the ones who could save the film (this one, the prison break, Rogue's dinamic role as she visits the brotherhood, Phoenix's rising showing all the energy and a floating Jean) didn't make the movie. I wonder if we had another director who didn't change those scenes we would get a better film...
