X2 recap:cool or corny?

They might only do quick flashbacks of certain scenes for people to connect the dots a little easier...I mean, there will be alot of people going into this movie that haven't seen X1 or X2 in years...

I think I know what you're getting at, a sort of recap but from Jean's POV, showing what happened to her after the wave hit.

Could work, and it's not as if the general public are not aware that she's coming back. She's all over the posters...

Didn't someone mention that the opening credits were going to be 20 mins long?

If they used the technique implored in Spiderman 2, then it could work well. Alex Ross is an amazing artist and I got goosebumps the first time I saw the intro to Spiderman 2. The Willem Dafoe/Goblin pic was sick

But certainly not footage from X2, still frames is ok in the credits, but we really don't need an entire montage of the prior film.

I wouldn't mind a recap of sourts if they did it somewhat like the opening credits of Spiderman 2. It wouldn't take away from the actual movie. Of course, everyone would say it was like SM2.

Maybe they could do a recap like Spider-Man 2 did, during the beginning credits. That would be neat.
