Gambit is definitely the man for Rogue.
Bobby is too Ken-ish. Too goodie-goodie.
Remy adds flavor and spunk to his relationship with Rogue.
She is a gothic character also, so Gambit and her would mos def be
a favorite couple in the movies. Would be nice to see Remy as a new student
kind of making fun of Bobby (the way Logan and Cyke argue).
Plus I would to see who wins in a game of "Poker"

Since when is Rogue Goth? Evolution Rogue, yes, but not movie Rogue or comics Rogue. There is this trading card out there were she's a vampire...

Anyhoo, I voted Gambit and Rogue too. For me, they're the creme de la creme of relationships: all of Shakespearian qualities that make them interesting, the romance, the hurt, the drama, the conflict...

As they are portrayed now, Bobby and Rogue have none of that; plus, Gambit's just more of an interesting character. If incorporated with his past (and his character), he provides a movie within itself, and the drama that goes with it. As far as we know, Bobby's past is completely normal. He has some interesting sidestories with his bigot family, but that isn't enough to base a movie on; certainly not as much as Gambit has.

And commercial wise, Remy and Rogue are just the more popular characters and couple than Bobby and Rogue. They're the kind of couple that gets a massive following because people WANT to see them.

That's what I think, at least.

I wouldn't mind seeing Iceman AND Gambit...without rogue. I mean, the Rogue storyline is over...even if she gets her powers back...it's time for her to move on.

Gambit should replace Logan (who should just have cameo appearances) and Iceman as cyclops with Rogue being Jean... everything pretty much remains the same if you look at it from that perspective

The movies wouldnt be as popular if wolvie isnt in the movie.

this is something that always amused me. before it got silly, you would see someone suggested for gambit in a casting thread, and then dismissed because they look too old for anna paquin. why? is the character that thin that it is defined by that relationship? best option for him is Vincent cassel (any one that has seen brotherhood of the wolf would understand that), but he is in his 40s.

In x3 she was and she never really got to use her powers-she didn't get much of her comic back ground like the other characters(i'm not talking extra powrs or BH),I just mean she never got to really have a hero moment.

But Bobby and Rogue are good together for me in the movies and Rogue and Gambit are good in the Series

I just don't want it to be like Ultimate X men, where Remy shows up and all of the sudden Rogues like, hey I'm running away with you.

Well granted it was forced in Ultimate that U Rogue left with him suddenly but then again Rogue was forced together with U Bobby to begin with.

**Remember that she hurt Bobby bad because of Weapon X forcing her but the minute she is on the team, he obsesses over her like she's wonderful and they are in a relationship in one issue with no explaination - which was actually less than the two issues of explaination for why she left with Gambit including Bobby macking on Kitty.**

Overall it still made more sense for her to be with Gambit given how she was forced into everything else but he gave her a choice than it was for her to return to the X-Men like she is now. Ultimate is nothing but forced reactions that happen way too fast so I just see her and Gambit as tit for tat in Ultimate.

The same was in X men Evlution, they sort of forced them into a relationship just because fans love them together.

They never had a relationship in Evolution - hints of one that might come yes but it was bascially a little flirting and one adventure together. Overall that was more like they should be slowly developed over time if a movie is done. I definitely agree that Rogue should be single or breaking up by the next time we see her. The strain of being a mutant who took the cure in a house of mtuants. A person who can't be an X-Men while her boyfriend is working with Kitty who can, maybe even issues with voices in her head, and the fact that it's teen love should end it all on it's own. Maybe have Rogue run off again and be on the road as her powers return - that would be excellent as she comes into her own while fighting with Gambit who's running from something else who she meets along the way. I still see movie Bobby as too cute and boring and he and Kitty did work better for me.
