Well deserved placement imo as X2 is a fantastic movie. Usually ranks at 2 or 3 on my top 10 list.

Next best Marvel entry was Avengers placing at #4

I felt like X-Men: First Class, Batman Begins and Iron Man 1 were all ranked too low.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier didn't even make the top 10 and X-Men 1 and Blade 2 weren't even mentioned at all. This list sucks.

Congrats are also in order for the mighty MCU, which has averaged a top 30 film every year in which the studio had a film release. That includes the two top rated superhero films of 2014. A truly remarkable achievement.

Pleasantly surprised to see X-2 rated second best. It wouldn't be my personal choice for 2nd best, that would be Spider-Man 2. But X-2 is a solid choice.

That isn't exactly true b/c none of the MCU movies from 2010 (Iron Man 2) or 2013 (Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World) made the list.

Marvel Studios released movies in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Six years. Six top 30 movies in the Empire poll. I'm pretty sure the math works.

This is one of the oddest lists I've seen. No surprise Spider-Man 2, X-2, TDK, Avengers and Supes 1 are high but overall that list is all ****ed up imo. How did the voting work?

Superman 2 is #3? No Dredd? Batman Begins #20 ? FC at 24?

Yes, but the studio had two top 30 films (per the Empire poll) in 2011 and 2014. The studio's AVERAGE is one top 30 film per release year. Math is fun!
