Because from the trailers and scenes that were shown, it's perfectly obvious that there's more to the movie than what was shown.

A LOT of material was taken out. That's why I refuse to believe Brett Ratner on this.

If it's true, then I guess he'll make sure his Rush Hours have deleted scenes and extended editions.

Yes because it was all Ratner Ratner actually runs Fox. And he's the one that's done the same thing to many Fox movies over the past few years. That makes so sense. I forgot it's the new cool thing to ***** at Ratner about doing things he's not involved with at all.

Ratner's original cut=30 seconds cut

later on..just like with MSJ, Story, and other directors under Fox. All got edited down. I doubt X-3 is as cut down. Maybe 15 or 20 minutes at the most.

But don't ***** at Ratner when he had nothing to do with it being edited down.

It's perfectly obvious that A LOT was cut from X3 and he's just putting on his typical stupid front. On one hand I don't blame Ratner, on the other hand I wish he hadn't directed this since he admitted to having ADD.

I want X-Men films to have focus, originality, and emotion. The only emotional scene was Xavier being demolecularized(I hate that word still) by the Phoenix.

I appreciate that Ratner brought more action, but action doesn't beat emotion in my opinion. The more I think about it, I don't believe just 30 seconds was cut from this film.

Those 15-20 minutes could've added more story and emotion to the film.

I'll definately buy it! I loved the movie, but I was really hoping there would be one of those DVDs with the Theatrical Version and a Special version.
Oh well, never mind. I'm still buying it the day it comes out!

Maybe in the 'Making Of' we will find out about what scenes wernt included and why. They obviously have reasons for not having an extended cut and their decisions so we will find out.

The last 2 X-Men DVDs didn't disappoint as far as special features go, I don't think this one will be any different; I just hope it's 2 disc.

Peter Jackson was successful starting these extended cuts off... they'd be wise to do the same eventually... they expect to make money off of some interviews and behind the scenes only??? It's all about the deleted scenes and they should know that...

Remember talk of a Xmen Dir Cut, didnt happen. Then everyone said well get it on 1.5, didnt happen. Did we get a dir cut of X2, didnt happen.

I dont know why everyone is so certain a dir cut will come out just because some stuff got sliced.

I wouldn't expect a longer cut or another edition of this DVD.

Afterall, we never got X2.5...

I think there are alternate scenes, NOT more or extended scenes...

Like Rogue wearing gloves at the end of the movie, or cured and no gloves.

Xavier waking up in the secret scene, or Jean and Scott still alive...

These would be alternate/replacement scenes, that's all. Personally, I think they went the wrong way with the official release (We wanted Scott & Jean after the credits, we wanted Rogue to accept her powers)

I wonder does he mean it won't actually be a big "Directors cut" or LOTR style extended cut but it'll have minor new footage like Storm's wave or does he mean it'll have a few deleted scenes?
