All the hosts on those shopping channels spout the same BS about whatever's being showcased. That's their job. I seriously doubt they really LOVE everything they're promoting. I wouldn't put too much faith in anything a salesperson has to say about X3.
I laughed out loud at her comment about the movie teaching good morals.
Let's see: Jean kills her lover and her mentor then turns against her friends. Magneto abandons Mystique, who later rats him out to the people who wanted her dead. The X-Men become hypocrites when they conveniently use the cure against Magneto, etc, etc. Not the morals I'd want my kids to learn.
Great examples but, your missing a few. Magneto becomes a hyprocrite when he suggests using the cure against the X-Men. Rogue decides it is better to have sex instead of accepting the pros and cons of her genetic defect. Xavier has no moral problems with taking over the mind and body of a comatosed person. Storm barley showed any interest in trying to save one of her friends(Jean). Almost all of the X-Men show little interest in figuring out what happened to Cyclops and he is quickly forgotten about until the last scene of the film!!!
I'm still wondering what the overall positive message this movie was trying to convey a year later because so far I only see negative messages.
Plus whose gonna pay an extra 10 bucks and more with shipping and handling for a DVD they can go to the local Wal Mart/Target/Best Buy/Circuit City for and get it for 20 or less.![]()
