First time I've ever seen anything like this.

I just saw a commercial for "The Day The Earth Stood Still", and at the very end of the commercial, they said "The only place where you can see the trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine"

Kind of surprised to see a trailer advertised as a selling point for a movie.

They did the same thing with FF with Elektra.

Oh how soon everyone forgets...

"Come see Dreamcatcher this weekend and see the AniMatrix short, The Final Flight of the Orisis..."

Maybe you ignored them by coming to these boards and know of them ahead of time.

I wonder how long before its leaked online.

Hey Mo, just add an hour after the end of the first showing of Day The Earth Stood Still on the east coast.

hopefully

And then it would be online and in good quality sometime next week... like trailers always are... unless Fox pulls a Fox and keeps that gimmick until they decide it doesn't work anymore.

lol. You're kinda late, Nell. :p

But yeah, they've done this a few times in the past for sure.

I actually think more movies should do this. They should stop underestimating the impact new trailers have on the geeky audience. :p I guess it can be sometimes hard to do because sometimes they just can't get any particular trailer on a movie and maybe they don't want to get theaters in trouble if people complain about a trailer not being on a movie when it was being advertised on TV.

I'm planning to keep an eye on youtube the next couple days.

I'll be going to see TDTESS tomorrow at work. I'll have a great opportunity to catch the trailer hopefully at least five times on the big screen!

Well I already knew the trailer WAS showing with the movie, I've just never seen a movie trailer as a selling point for a movie before.

was gambit featured only in scene? I mean, does it feel like a 5 second cameo?

I cant wait to just read a description of the trailer nevermind just seeing it :D
