I doubt it, what they are catching slack for already is Cyclops death, even reviews have noted it as a low point and unnecessary. Plus there won't be Superman as revenge anymore, that will have come and gone...I think he'll get a bigger role next time if there is a next time.

Of course, it would be pointless involving him in any other way. I hope this is what happens although I don't think 'deaths' would ever be taken seriously in the franchise again.
