Sequels X4 ideas

I've always wondered something about the whole Genosha storyline, how do they make mutants be slaves when they can just go ape**** on them with their powers? Do they have something that takes away their powers?

Well in the X-Tinction Agenda storyline,they were all powerless.I do not know the specifics of how they were taken away but I know that Storm was able to restore Cyclops' power near the end of the arc.

There appears to be hints that Singer's Idea for X3 was for the Hellfire Club/Phoenix to be the villains (Im thinking of the SHAW markings on the Dam in X2 and the Sigourney Weaver/Emma Frost comment).
It appears as things stand X3 will be a Phoenix and more exposition of the government/mutant conflict.
So I'm thinking Hellfire for X4, with Worthington Sr being a corporate mogul I think the next sequels will see a shift from government/political/ideological enemies to corporate/finance-based/self-serving enemies.
Seeing it's popular to pick the Characters I'll say Shaw, Frost, Selene, Essex - Beast, Angel, Storm, Rogue, Iceman and Cyclops, Kitty and Gambit. (They're the token 11 mains)
I'll say the morlocks make an appearance as Essex's failed genetic community, Frost possesses Iceman, Selene tries to make a traitor of Rogue.
Basically I can't work out what would be Shaw and Emma's motivations for attacking the X-Men but I figure they would play the government/community off against them and there would be plenty of kidnapping, torturing and backstabbing, and some pretty *brutal* character arcs for Iceman, Rogue, Gambit, Angel and maybe Kitty and Beast. Especially when dealing with Essex, Frost, Selene and Shaw.
Oh and I figure Shaw has the patents to his "Sentinel" anti-mutant enforcement system. I dunno, maybe he sells that to the government which weeds out all the pointless mutants and steers the powerful ones to the cause of the hellfire club.

Hellfire club would be nice. I for once would like to see a battle between two balanced factions of Mutants.

I'd expect X3 to be the last film for Jean and Magneto, and possibly Xavier and Cyclops. They should wrap up Magneto in X3. As great Ian McKellen is, I think we need a fresh new villain played by an A-list actor, preferrably someone of the calibre of Stewart and McKellen to play someone like Sinister or even Dr. Trask.

Obviously Gambit will probably have that Jack Sparrow role where you never quite know whose side he's on. The best way to intro arguably the most unpredictable X-Man would be as a villain.

Now with X3 introducing a young looking Emma Frost, I feel they made a big mistake. She should get a big role other than a cameo appearance. They should do what they're doing with Gambit, save her up for a 4th movie other than squeeze her in the 3rd to please fans...

There are some brilliant, and logical, routes to go down with further X-movies.

The movies so far have seen mutants vs humans, and that will be brought to a head in X3 it seems with the war that has been hinted at so far.

The next moves could focus on:

1) The corporate power of mutants who are existing within the power structures of normal society and exploiting it. An inner government destroying humans from within, working up the social and political ladder, 'the evil within' idea. The Hellfire Club.

2) Humans cynically exploiting mutants - Weapon X, the creation of Alpha Flight, the work that Stryker was involved in, the Wolverine storyline, the fate of Sabretooth, Deathstrike and any other enhanced mutants. The Russian equivalent - the Soviet government's mutant team with Darkstar etc, perhaps attempting to get Colossus back. The use of mutants for power gain.

3) Mutants trying to further their own cause and preserve the evolution process through experimentation - Sinister, Apocalypse, Magneto and his Savage Land mutates and his mutant Alpha who reduced him to childhood. The Savage Land fits here, perhaps for the movies it would be merged with Krakoa.

All perfect candidates as a basis for the next trilogy of movies!!!

Tell us what the plot should be, who should join the X-Men now and the villains, plot details, director, and more.

Add new heroes and all new villains...no magneto or mystique in this version.

i want to see the government initiate the sentinel program and in the end you see the x-men/mutants in DC or new york fighting like 20 of them in the streets. nothing seriously overdone just a great opportunity to show off mutants working together and lots of powers.

If anyone is going to bring Sinister to life,it's going to be Laurence Fishburne.

Ooh... great choice. He has the look and the voice... can you imagine what effect his laugh would create? Fishburne for Sinister.

In the new interview with Bryan on the front page he said he really misses everyone at X-men and Avi, and was asked if he'd do 4, and he didn't sound as if he wouldn't, he said again he missed everyone.

Maybe he'll be back. He mentioned that a friend of his is directing it now but you never know.

First - At the end of X3 get rid of Storm have her want to go home to Africa for a bit

Second - Make Cyclops & Wolverine leaders of the School in Future Sequels
(I highly doubt Hugh will leave the franchise that made him a star)

Third - Bring back Ice Man, Rogue, Clossus, Beast, Angel & finally Introduce Gambit

So in my X4 you'd have

Cyclops, Wolverine, Ice Man, Rogue, Angel, Beast, Colossus, & finally Gambit & if Jean is alive bring her back as well

A Weapon X one. This time with the infamous Doctor played by James Cromwell who just lets loose all his mutant drones on Wolverine-(Marrow, Wild Child, Chamber, etc.) THis could be a good way to bring back Sabertooth.

With Chuck, Jean and Cyclops gone - Wolv or Storm would have to lead and Halle said this is her last one (so why the hell shes looks to be taking over by the films end is beyond me)

They commented on Gambits casting being tricky becuase whoever it was they cast would have to be able to carry future sequels.

I think Wolverine might be missing from X4 to do solos adventures.

They will do a fourth film.
