Alright. So I might be getting an Xbox 360 this week or next and I wanted you guys' opinions. Is it good? What are some good games on it? Is The Red Light of Death as terrible as it sounds? Have any of you guys ever gotten said Red Light?

I'm on my 3rd system, got redlighted twice (both times were within 6 weeks of launch), but I've stuck with it, it's an amazing system.

okay, here you go.
if your wanting to get a new game system. The x-box 360 is one of your best bets.

ps3 has very few exclusive titles and the price isnt worth it. oh ya also the online play sucks. but ps3 does have blue-ray and a web brower. but that's about it and just for thatit aint worth the ps3 price tag.

the wii. i would love to have a wii cause it's revolutionary in the gaming world. but most of the games on the system are childish. but it you have extra cash, you should pick one up. i dont know how the online play is because i havent played with the wii online.

the xbox 360. i own one after many years as a "playstation playa" but xbox has so many fantastic exclusive titles, also the online play is just amazing. the only downsides of the 360 is you have to pay a fee to play online, unlike the playstation. plus on some of the games the graphics are a little choppy. but only on a few games it's been like that.

so overall you should get a 360. then if you have some extra cash, pick up a wii.
and if your a millionaire then you can pick up a ps3.

Its ok, I suppose it all comes down to the question what kind of games do you like?

If you like first person shooters, go with a 360, because 360 is, and always will be the system for FPSes. If not, I'd recommend a PS3 as at some point in the system's life, it will probably have the most diversity of games.

Well, its true. 360 at the end of this generation will be remembered for two things. Its shooters and the sports games (if EA gets their act together) so if he doesn't like shooters it doesn't make much sense to get one.

The system is ok. It freezes sometimes and produces a lot of heat. The games are good. If you like shooters, get one. If not you may not love it as much.
