Hey Guys, I've had my 360 for about a year now & I adore it, but I've often wondered if You can sit it vertical? Various sites and friends have told me different answers. Does anyone have theirs vertical?

Technically you can, but it's generally not a good idea.

People say it's better for the ventilation to stand it vertically, but I don't buy it. I'm more concerned about the disc, the 360 can easily f' a disc up if it's nudged the wrong way.

Yeah, my buddy borrowed my copy of Bioshock and knocked his 360 over when it was running. Disc ended up with a perfect deep scratch and his system RRODeed.

I only kept mine vertical when there was no way to lay it flat and I had no problems, it's all about personal preference.

horizontal ftw.. as stated above.. the disc is safer

I've always had mine in the veritcal position and none of my games have been ruined. I am up to three RRoD's though.

Lay it flat on it's side and stick an ionizer right behind the thing. Set it to blow cold air all day long and you'll never have to worry about overheating or scratched discs.
