I don't remember which thread it was posted in, but someone mentioned the Cleveland shoot was a distraction. I am beginning to agree with that. This past week we have gotten so many reports from that shoot yet what the hell is going with the MAIN shoot? What is Raimi and company up to in NY or LA or where ever it is they're shooting.

they could be shooting in the studio lot for all we know. Places we're not gonna see till may of 2007.

Places and PEOPLE! We've seen a lot of sand, but not a lot of Goblins and Venoms.

Wouldn't people find out if they're shooting in New York, isn't this information made public, as it was with the previous films?

So you don't think all this stuff there shooting in Cleveland will be in the movie? Maybe it will be for the teaser trailer. Either way, they shoot movie scenes out of sequence so who knows how much of the actual movie they have already shot at this moment. They could have already got the Goblin & or Venom scenes out of the way & we would never know it. They wouldn't necessarily have to shoot them out in broad daylight for the whole world to see for them to be included into the movie.

Distraction of what? Don't films do different scenese seperatly. They are focusing on this part now in Cleveland. The "main part" as you call it will be focused on later when that scene is going to be focused on just let Raimi do what needs to be done.

No, they wouldn't waste several million dollars on a distraction. It's simple B unit shooting, that is all.

Finally, the definitive dumbest conspiracy theory ever! Kudos.

They start shooting, we get a lot of set reports, and people still find a reason to complain about the information given? Damn people are just so damn finnicky about everything.

and we seen pics of spidey in his regular red and blue costume, but no black suite yet...i wonder if they'll even allow him to be seen in his black costume??

Venom and GG2 haven't been "confirmed". The black suit is a very important aspect to the story. I don't expect to see any of these things in broad daylight for everyone to see.

Sandman/Flint Marko WAS confirmed in pictures, words, interviews, etc. So seeing him in broad daylight is much more..."acceptable" for Sony.

I see that many of you do not understand what I was trying to point out. The film has been shooting for at least 4 months and that is without including the special effects stuff they began shooting back in late 2005. And, all this time we've been trying to find out what's going on with the production. Now we're getting all these set reports from Cleveland (which is great) but after several months it seems like these simple second unit shoots are distracting fans from what we really want to know.

#1-Is Topher Grace playing Eddie Brock or not? After all these months why haven't they revealed this information yet?

#2-Is Harry going to be some kind of a Goblin?

#3-Does Spidey really have the symbiote black suit or not? When are we gonna see an actual picture. Cause I doubt that teaser photo is the actual symbiote. Maybe I'm wrong.

#4-Exactly what role does Gwen and her father play in this film? Do they have a lot of screen time or not?

#5-What's Curt Conner's purpose in the film?

I can continue on and on. There are still many unanswered questions and only two official photos.

I just think that the Cleveland, as cool as it may be, is keeping people occupied while Raimi and company quietly continue to make their film. Or purpose they have already finished. Remember that Elizabeth Bank said that they only had like 60 production dates left. With only 60 production dates left they probably have shot like 80% of the movie already.

You guys are just haters. Yeah, its great to see photos of Spider-Man everyday on top of a truck, but after all these months is it really satisfactory?

And with all of the months we still have left, does it really matter what we have so far?

Well I would think that a lot of people would say yes. After all these months with next to nothing and a previous set reports which were scarce and no pics and now we have them. We get to see them filming stunts, we see both Sandman and Spider-man stunt doubles as well as video of the filming. You can't argue that it's a lot more than what we had before.

For the love of Christ... this has to be the dumbest thread I've ever read. I still don't understand your point. It's vague.

Just let Sam and his gang make their movie. All questions will be answered sooner than later.

It's amazing to me how confused so many people are about this film. They're going to make another fortune off of you people come May 4, 2007...just on curiosity alone.:O

You are correct, sir. Don't forget to include yourself. You'll probably see it more times since Danny Elfman won't be coming back.

I'm like batteries, I'm always included.:)

A distraction? Why would a big company throw away milions to create a distrcation that no one except fans like us give a crap about and lets face it they got our money already. Perspective people, perspective!

:spidey: Okay, okay..... I get what the first guy was talking about. I think it dosent realy matter, and its *not* some big *ploy*.... but I get it. And irony of ironys, I was going to this site to *get* pics of the cleveland shoot! Lol - and just wanted to say thank you to everyone who put their pics up; its realy nice to hear about whats going on and what you guys are getting right away.
... okay, now.... they are realy trying to keep as much as they can from getting out. Even at something as "little" (so to speak) as this Cleveland shoot. With camera phones and everyone-and-their-mother walking down the street, theres not a whole hell of a lot that can be done about what gets out when your not on a soundstage. That is why so much of *this* shoot is getting out, while the other stuff is not. And youv got to remember... they dont *have* to tell us *anything*! Its kinda fun to seek out and find the little info that someone might know, and its even better to go to the movie and find out everything right then and there! I would love it if there was a big suprise in this movie that no one knew about. I watch LOST; after I got the DVD and watched the extra-behind-the-scense-making-of stuff, there was just a *little* that I lost (lol) from being in that wolrd when I watched the show; I knew how the magic trick worked.
As for the black suit :venom: ..... there is no way in hell that we are going to see that just walking down the street, or **anywhere** for that matter. The longer we dont know whats going on, the more we *want* it.
....Lol... can I say hell here or what?? Man its been a log day :O
