YES! We're getting a Hulk sequel!

As a hulk fan I thougth that the cock up with this past hulk film would be more than enough. Hulk just isnt a big blockbuster movie, end. Maybe a tv show again, or perhaps an animated movie. The past film was just a moish mash of cack if were honest. It made no sense and was clearly over edited making the story disapear up it own arse. Well done all the so called smarties on here who knew what was going to happen lol. Those who claimed to work on set and have inside knowledge were as wrong as you can be.

You call yourself a Hulk fan? :whatever:

If this is true, then awesome but I am more curious as to how the sequel will pick where the first one left off.

Banner is in British Columbia.
Betty is in New York.
Ross is in New York (right? cause of the last scene between him and Stark)

The thing is, I wonder whether or not Bruce and Betty cross paths again. I hate to see them being a part from each other again. Its so sad. :(

Oh remember that Bruce does get the necklace back and he puts it in an envelope with Betty's name and address on it..

They're just one big Hulk jump away from each other. Plus, it didn't seem like the General was giving up. Just changing tactics.

YES!!! I just finished watching TIH (again) and am quite happy with the news!!
Bring on Professor Hulk! (Yes, I stupidly believe that Banner becomes Professor Hulk in the end scene where his eye are green and he smiles)

I believe he'll become Savage Hulk and talk far more than he has now (or at least hopefully will with Banner's new influence) where as I believe Hulk in this movie wasn't exactly "mindless" (as he was able to weaponize and recongnize Betty) but pretty much a primal Hulk with very little Banner input (see: roaring at thunder.)

Great news and I'm ecstatic that Ed Norton is signed on for more. He is a great actor.

It definitely doesn´t seem like a coincidence. Gale should be aware of the demand on DVD when she made that statement.

Oh I hope! Now. I don't want to be too spoiled... hehe. I hope we get more confirmation about a sequel and the actors being signed on for more.

Not getting my hopes up just yet as Marvel havent said anything, but hope this does happen.

Why isn't there hasn't been as much publicity about Norton returning & Incredible Hulk sequels as there was for Spider-Man or Iron Man? Incredible Hulk did okay at the theaters, and now it's at the top of the DVD charts... hopefully we'll start hearing more soon.

TIH didnt do half of what Iron Man or Spiderman did at the BO, thats why, studio's dont jump into sequels to movies that barely made a profit the majority of the time.

But if the DVD sales go through the roof; they very well might.

Hellboy got it's sequel based on strong DVD sales after a lacklustre cinematic run.

It's true that TIH was not a monster at the B.O. just like 03 Hulk. All studios want to see their films become financially successful and the more the better. In TIH's case though, I don't think Marvel was shocked, surprised or taken aback by it's numbers. I honestly believe Marvel was expecting this.

One thing TIH has in it's favor, imo, is fan appeal. Overall, it seems most fans and non fans like it, at least the ones that have seen it. As much as I personally like Ang's Hulk, I have to admit that it got/gets a mixed reaction among the fan community. TIH'S positive reception along with good DVD sales could make the case for a future sequel. At least GAH has come out publicly that she wants to do a sequel and I don't recall her or anyone else doing that with 03 Hulk.

I think the biggest factor that is keeping Marvel from going full steam ahead on a sequel is the fact that they want so much to get Cap and Thor out there so they can make Avengers. After that, I hope there is a sequel.

If Marvel likes to make all these plans, they should start casting younger actors. Otherwise, we're gonna be seeing 50 year old Iron Man, 50 year old Hulk, and so on..

somebody make sure that Ed Norton's contract is secure.. I don't want him on an interview saying that the contract vanished...

After how much I enjoyed TIH, I'm hoping that a sequel happens.

Yes, That is great news but then it probably wouldn't come out until about 3 to 4 years down the road.

What news..? There is no confirmation..

Well it hardly sounded like conclusive confirmation. Erica Bana and the rest of 2003 cast were also signed on for multiple movies in case everyone's forgotten.

Yeah, I think the celebrating is a little premature. A sequel would be great, though.

what bugs me is that marvel is getting all excited for iron man2 and avengers they copmpletly over look hulk and put him off till 2012 or whenever when he should have a movie in late 2010, putting more of a settup for him in the avengers as a hero instead of the villian. let fury see that hulk is every bit a hero as iron man, and he's a brilliant scientist.

Not sure where that 2012 date comes from. Look, didn't Kevin Feige basically said they are trying to give other characters movies and the spotlight now and Hulk had two movies already?

Whats with all the TIH hating in here? I'm the biggest bat-fan to walk the earth and I loved TIH. I thought it was awesome, Norton was great, Roth was awesome and Tyler was perfect as Betty Ross. I agree the deleted scenes should have been left in but that doesn't make the movie bad, it was still an enjoyable action flick with more heart than most.

I don't really see anyone hating on the movie. People just think the movie was missing some stuff and it didn't connect with audiences quite as much as we were hoping.

Most of us do like the movie.
