YES! We're getting a Hulk sequel!

For the record, Jack McGee was from the TV show, and never appeared in the comic (as an aside: I was quite vocal about my wish for a scene with Rick and Jack together in TIH...I honestly think Louis Letterier made it Jim Wilson instead just to bust my chops, and I don't even know the guy.)

With Bill Bixby appearing on tv in the film, the Lonely Man theme being played at one point, and the overall approach being a bit more in line with the series than the Ang Lee film ever attempted, the Jack McGee reference being dropped felt very much in place.

Also, Rick's name appears during the opening credits on a file listing Banner's known contacts...hopefully something was/is planned for the character in the future.

Ah, much like some names popping up on the computer screen in X2.

Exactly, they said the movie was going to combine elements from the show and the comic...which is why I wanted some Jones/McGee dialogue going on.

Rick could easily be introduced in the Avengers movie as Cap's first modern-day friend, and then move on to Incredible Hulk 2.

I'm not going to say that Hulk is getting a sequel, but Marvel is reporting some good news on Hulk's performance...not when compared to Iron Man, but it's un realistic expect every IP to deliver those levels of results. I think Hulk will be in Avengers, and then another Hulk movie in 2012.

^^Sounds like the same ol' line Marvel has been giving us since the numbers started rolling out for TiH. Marvel may just be "satisfied" with the outcome; money sure isn't burnin a hole in their pockets to produce a sequel, or so it seems

we better get a sequel with norton, i just watched the movie again last night on pay per view and i loved it. :bh:

is Marvel doing anythng at Wondercon?
