Create a seperate layer, then chose a black or dark grey set the opicity at about 60 - 70% then chose your light source and apply your color. then clean up with the eraser tool.

This is a cute one. Ninja-Bot or Pirate-Bot. Who will win?!

Hey, Dew; what filter are you using on your pics? I thought you were maybe using the "watercolor filter" from Photoshop but you say that you use PSP. It adds to some of the pics but isn't all that great for other ones (like the Invincible one).

those look really great guys, keep up the good work!

I use texture/edge smoothing depending on what I need. Yeah I had it set a little high on Invincible, but I liked the way it looked so I kept it :)

Yep I know I'm nuts :p :p
I thought about doing that one too, but then I realized I didn't know what most of the dc characters costumes looked like so I decided against it

There's a colored version on the Comic Art Community. :)

Go to: Image -> Adjustments -> Brightness/Contrast and mess around with those settings.

Thanks, but doesn't that darken the whole picture?

You have to juggle them a little. But you can make it as bright as you want.
You'll just have to try it. :p
