You Do Your Annoying, Unorthodox Thing That You Do In The Wrestling Thread

I'd honestly would rather see Asuka on SmackDown Live than RAW, she'd be much better on there! Besides, everyone wants to see her face off against Charlotte anyway. As for the main event last night on RAW, you're right it, was a bust, the only thing that saved the ending was Nia Jax's face turn. I'm hoping WWE Creative won't continue to play 'hot potato' with the RAW Women's title and won't make it contagious to the SmackDown Live women's division. This is why I said before that all the Women need their own wrestling show after the Mae Young Classic is done and over with, put all the ladies from RAW, SmackDown and NXT (but still appear on their brands), put the ladies (that were actually signed) from the Mae Young Classic and put some old familiar faces (like Lita, Trish Stratus, Ivory, Jacqueline, etc.) and there you have your "all-women's wrestling show".

Both divisions could benefit extremely from Asuka and both "need" her imo.
Raw however i think needs her more.
If the whole booking would be better then it wouldnt be much of a problem, but the womans division booking is wonky as hell.

Was it a face turn for Nia or for Alexa? Im not sure at the moment.
It felt more like a Alexa face turn...we will see.
Personally im torn on a all womans show because i want the woman to be in the middle of the buzz.
Putting them into one show away from smackdown and raw, could take away the overall spotlight and media presence i think.
But having their own show could help them in terms of the competition.

I'm not sure I trust WWE to do a women's only show. Vince and Co. are just addicted to seeing blond white women rule the division.

I trust HHH and the people who run NXT but yeah, vince, hayes and the rest i dont trust as far as i can throw them...which is not far.
They destroyed bayley, they hold becky down, they tried to make Eva Marie into a real wrestler...and that is only what they did with the woman.

Having their own show would also allow for a women's tag team title to help those singles wrestlers who had trouble getting over. You can do stables too. Even have a secondary "Intercontinental-ish" title.

I love the concept, but they'd have to go all out and not just have it on WWE network. I really think they could sell a women's wrestling show to a station like Lifetime IF the WWE does it right and doesn't fall to their base instincts. (I'm talking to you Vince...)

That's exactly how I play my WWE Universe in 2k17. Smackdown is my all-women's show with a tag division as was as a women's intercontinental champion. (Not to mention an actual title run for Sasha Banks!) So I would love to see this in real life. Especially since that game is barely playable what with all the glitches...:cmad:

You know what bugs me most of all here, WWE's constantly making Alexa look right. Seriously, she goes out there, belittles/insults the babyfaces constantly, makes claims about them "not being worthy" and how she's so much better than them. And then in the end, she wins and is proven RIGHT!!

It happened to Becky (who going on a year out now still hasn't recovered booking-wise from it), it happened to Bayley, and now it's happened to Sasha.

You don't just beat your faces, you make them look pathetic in the process.

I remember reading before that McMahon is happy as long as he has his one megastar. Gone are the days where he has make everyone look at the very least credible if not strong.

I think he has found his megastar of the women's division unfortunately. At least Cena could work most of his opponents to a good match. :csad:

What's dumb is that he HAD a megastar with Sasha.

The pop she got with her first championship win was MASSIVE...then she lost like 2-3 weeks later. Same with her 2nd and 3rd wins.

People LOVE her, but Vince loves the blond girls.

Tamina, The Usos, Roman Reigns and basically every Samoan Pro wrestler except Samoa Joe are his cousins, but not by blood. I think Nia is his cousin by blood.

I believe that Peter Maivia was a "blood brother" to the grandfather of the others, meaning not technically related by blood.

The Rock has tweeted more about Nia than his other cousins.
Nia is The Rocks real cousin via his mother and Nia's father being siblings I believe.
The Cena and Reigns promo was very good. Interesting if all legit too. If Vince seriously let Cena bury Roman like that, that may suggest Vince is souring on him. And Cena is right. If Roman could get over, Vince have to rely on Cena to keep coming back.

Not sure where this is going. Ultimately if Vince still backs Roman for the future, Cena has to put him over. The only place to do that is WrestleMania, let's be honest. So what.... Cena wins at No Mercy? then they trade wins at PPVs up until Mania? Please God don't let it be for the title....
If Vince is willing to bury Reigns and has soured on his then he is screwed. Vince has repeatedly botched it when it comes to creating new credible stars.

I think Vince is pretty high on AJ Styles and sees him as his current Shawn Micheals (without the drama). Styles is pretty much the face of Smackdown. I don't think he would be pushed over Roman or Strowman if he was on Raw though.

I'm 100% certain Asuka will not be booked well when she goes up on the main roster because Vince will not understand her appeal and put her in a Geisha Girl outfit. In fact, I'll be surprised if she doesn't "struggle" to win against Emma or Dana Brooke in her first match. Asuka will be booked poorly, and to say otherwise is stupid.

I don't know why, but when Brock speaks in a WWE ring, I mark out.

Alexa calls Becky Lynch a joke of a champion: She beats her and proves she's a joke of a champion.

Alexa says Bayley isn't extreme enough to use a kendo stick: She squashes her in like five minutes and proves Bayley isn't hardcore enough to use a kendo stick.

Alexa says Sasha is choke artist and she can't defend her title even once: She beats her a proves she can't defend her title even once.

You can add this when it happens:

Alexa makes fun of Asuka for not speaking English: Asuka loses to Alexa because Vince is a stupid moron. Asuka then takes a long extended break before she is repackaged on the main roster as a Geisha Girl. Vince will find it funny, and book her like a damn joke.

They are making Alexa quite the female Triple H.

Do not worry people. Vince is 72 years old, can not be too much time left on the clock. Then HHH and Steph take over.

Women's tag team division can definitely be in the cards if this show happens, as for stables, team Nia Jax up with Tamina and Lei'D Tapa and then, bring in, wait for it...................................

If they really go all out instead of doing it like with 205...it could work.
Love the idea of womans tag titles, as far as i know, womans tag teams are very rare...so you could build up on something very fresh with that.

WWE finally managed to book a John Cena feud where I am rooting for John Cena to win. All of Roman's lines on Cena made him look like a whiny ***** who just couldn't measure up.
