''You have a wildness in you, child.'' - the Arya thread

I'm really interested in her character arc this season. Her training is clearly important to the overall story as they left it in. I hope she kills some lannister before the shows end

there aren't many lannisters left lol

Somehow, I think Kevan Lannister will be the last one standing. Which is hilarious, since his name is Kevan.

Where do you guys suppose Arya is hiding out? I figured she was just taking off once she collected her sword, but she stayed in Braavos. Anyway, I hope to God she kills that waif b**ch.

i dont think she knows that she was being followed or watched

here's what i thought watching the most recent ep
arya went to bed with needle, and turned off all the lights. if the girl comes to kill her in the dark, arya has the advantage as she had learned to fight while blind. unless of course, the other girl was trained this way and i'm wrong haha

I'm not sure where this is...maybe she found herself a secret hideout somewhere else in Braavos offscreen? She doesn't have any resources to rent lodgings and stay off the streets, nor to book passage out of there on a ship. Maybe her new actress friend Lady Crane will help her out?

I wish that were true. But Ser Meryn Trant was in the room and fought Syrio. Only Meryn Trant and his men walked out of there.

Yeah that one's kind of flimsy. Syrio was a shrimp compared to Jaqen and I dont think Faceless Men can reduce their height, just change faces.

All that gif proves is that Arya remembers her old lessons with the water dancer.

This is potentially spoilerish so don't read if you don't wanna know!

'Game of Thrones': Maisie Williams Previews Arya Stark's Dark Season 6 Journey

Does Jaqen H'ghar share Wlaschiha's admiration? The actor won't say, but he does suggest that the relationship between Jaqen and Arya is perhaps more predestined, or at least more purposeful, than one would initially think.

"From the beginning, he's somehow chosen her to be his apprentice," he says. "He wasn't in that cage for nothing. It wasn't just random. I think he always had a bigger plan for her. He's trying to teach her to the best of his abilities, even if sometimes that comes across as punishing or hurting her."

"I think Jaqen wants what's best for her," he continues, "because he has an agenda with her."

But Arya has an agenda of her own, according to Williams: "Arya this season will learn the most valuable lesson she has learned and will ever have learned. She's going to develop a skill that's going to come in handy and will benefit her for a very, very long time. I guess the people who are training her are going to almost create a bit of a monster. They're going to give away all of their best-kept secrets, and she's going to ultimately use that to her advantage."

In other words, Arya Stark lives, as much as she swears she's "No One" — and it's bound to be very bad news for more than a few someones.

I hope we get to see Needle back in action this week!

Arya is my favorite character. I'm really disappointed the series didn't show her Warg dreams as the book did. There's still time to reveal that ability I suppose but so far we haven't really seen it.

it's magic. it's like a glamour spell the Red Witch uses. They get the look, the voice the whole package.
And the only thing the gif of Syrio and the Waif shows is that both have very similar styles. They could have learned from the same teacher or if you believe that Jaqen was always on a mission to recruit her, like I do ,that Syrio could have been a Faceless man too. Heck Jaqen may have been Syrio. Looking at the "parkour" skills and other tricks Jaqen obviously has. Could he have not have escaped from that balcony?

Jaqen seems to have ulterior motives for Arya going back 'home'.

The Many Faced God is not done with her yet. She's special. I just wish the show had shown her warg abilities.

They ruined her storyline. 2 seasons wasted with LOST style writing. Seriously, the end to her Faceless Man story was the most anticlimactic thing of the entire series so far. I loved Arya up until this inconsistent, poor writing.

The Arya of the books would have a cat in her little hiding place with her. She would hide and warg into the cat and use it's eyes and see in the dark, use the cat to attack the Waif and distract her, then kill her.

Maybe they're waiting to reveal her Warg abilities to the general audience by letting her Warg into Nymeria

I think they're going to let Bran be the only one with that ability for some reason. In the books Arya could connect with Nymeria even across the sea.

It seems like they long ago decided the cost benefit analysis of featuring a book accurate version of the dire wolves just didn't work out in the black. They probably felt the coolness of fantastically huge wolves just didn't match the effect that spending more money on the dragons would. And once they made that decision, any dire wolf traits that weren't plot important, including all but Bran's warging, fell to Martin's Razor.
