You think they will ever do a jokey type episode?

Angel had Smile Time. Buffy had Once More, With Feeling. Do you think Heroes will ever do a not-so-serious episode? I can see Hiro or Micah having a dream that the heroes are all like the Superfriends...just me.

Maybe season 2 or 3. If they did it this early, there would be too many pissed off people.

Well, yeah, you wouldnt want to do it season 1 or even season 2 for that matter. I mean, Angel waited five seasons to do it.

Right now I would say no, only because of the nature of the show. "Gimmick" type episodes (I liked the episodes a lot, but they were gimmick episodes) like those on Buffy and Angel (Smile Time, Once More with Feeling, even Hush) worked because of the nature of the shows, you could just use a new demon to put the characters in the situation, plus they added to the season plots. However, Heroes right now is more like 24 or Lost and I don't think it would work as well, it's more "real world" isn't quite as sci-fi as Buffy or Angel right now where I think it would work.

I think that would be too cheesy for a show like this. Buffy and Angel were as much comedies as they were dramas. Where as this one is more of a light hearted drama. That's in regard to the singing and dancing. I could see a gimmick episode like Hush, that would work within the show.

yeah at the moment it doesnt seem right, they need to get more respect before making an episode that can hurt them lol

it would be funny to see a musical episode like Buffy's Once More with Feeling. one of my favorite episodes, i keep it on my PC lol

i can see Hiro do some sort upbeat pop number while Ando just looking at him all weird haha

A gimmick episode (although a musical sounds like a bad idea) could be fun, even as early as season 3... who knows what will be going on, but perhaps a young comic relief character could go crazy with their powers and "Dude Where's My Car" hilarity could ensue...

The singing and dancing being chessy doesn't really work because the songs revealed a lot of deep feelings the characters had and had very big reprecussions. The tone of the show right now just doesn't seem right for this type of episode, it would need to leave the more real world elements behind and become more sci-fi to use a gimmick episode and would probably turn people off rather than make increase interest.

That being said, I think Supernatural could totally benefit from an episode like Smile Time, Once More with Feeling or Hush. It's the right type of show for those kind of gimmicks.

Maybe there's a villain with the powers to make everyone sing. LOL.

Well, at least Hayden is a professional singer. But I'd love to see Hiro singing. "I'm so ronery...".

Obiously if they do one, Hiro should get the most screen time. Because he is so funny at times. case in point, when he managed to moce the clock back one second, he shouted in what I think was a comical way "I did it!".

She is? I didn't know that.

Anyway while a 'Gimmicky' episode could be fun i can't see anything happening before they reach the 100 episode.

I changed my mind, we need a joke episode now! This premise will do nicely.
