so about two weeks ago my bother had a heart attack at the age of 31. my mom and dad went to Utah (from MN) to see him and help him and family (wife and 3 kids). my dad came back last week and told me that things were bad there. that my sister in law wasn't active in the family. that she would find some reason not to be there. that the kids were given free run of the house.
so too night my mom came home and as i was talking to her she told my that my bother doesn't like me (or our sister) and says that we judge him and think that we are better then him. to tell you the truth i haven't thought about him until i got the call about the heart attack.
so later i get a call from my sister and after some hemming and hawing she told me the reason that my bother and his wife aren't on good terms is that my brother cheated on her.

before i wanted him to get well and turn his life around and now im just mad at him for thinking that he can act this way.

i would if his heart could take it. and on top of every thing my sister made me promise not to tell out mom and dad. even thought i think that know.

Wow, despite all the foulness that has gone on with my siblings I've never had any of hem at their worst say things like that. My heart really goes out to you man. Even so my suspicions have been aroused by what you've described. It sounds to me like he has a few substance abuse issues their f he's let things get this bad and not put his foot down and taken charge.

I wouldn't even bring it up to him. If he already feels that you think you are better, saying something about it will only compound the issue. When he said that, it may have been out of anger. Sometimes when people are very sick, or facing serious medical issues they get that way.

we told each other we hated one another

he's cheated on his pregnant ex girlfriend

has a drug problem

knows i am better than him with responsibilty

and i still cant figure out what he is thinking half the time.

but here is an update- i got some more info from my sister who told me that my brother cheated on his wife on her birthday while she went out with friends. later he told her that he didn't think that he loved her anymore and that he wanted to be with the other girl (shes 18 or 19). but he came back after a week or so because he saw that it wouldn't work.

So basically he's stuck himself with a troll of a woman and placated himself with easy sex?
