Your dream closing scene for season 10?

Hey there, I did a quick search for this on the board and can't believe I didn't find anything, so.........how would you end season 10.

Now I'm far from the biggest fan of Smallville, kinda watched a few episodes of each season so I don't know any specifics regarding characters or whatnot, but I always had this in mind for the finale, and have mad a few adjustments having seen the 1st episode of the season.

So I'm guessing that Jor-El is keeping the superman suit in "lock-down" until Clark fulfills his destiny and becomes the man he is supposed to be, and pressumably the season will climax with a fight with Darkseid (sp?), so my final bit would be.

Darkseid is defeated, and Clark vanished, we cut to the fortress and the suit has disappeared. Slowly fades to black, then slowly back out to Clark at his desk at the Daily Planet typing away. He hears gunfire and people screaming, gets up and calmly goes the the stairs, down the the entrance as the Superman march begins. He gets outside and starts running down an alleyway, throws the glasses away and does the classic shirt rip as he's running to the camera as the music does the "su-per-man" bit, then he runs past the camera and as it turns to him, he's running, full superman suit, and sets off into the sky as the music hits its high-point. Cut to black.

What do you guys think? And what would your ideal ending be?

actually in all seriousness , i'd like to see a shot of lex in his tower looking through a large widow and then superman appears floating with his arms crossed. they both look at each other intensely, both knowing that from hear on out, they are forever enemies, then clark looks up then flies away

Just seeing him fight in the suit versus Darkseid would be soooo much win. *Cue epic music* And it better not be a Doomsday fight, atleast a decent battle this time that doesn't end in one punch.

I just hope after watching it I feel like "That's Superman right there, no doubt about it."

I don't need to see Clark in the suit. I would be perfectly happy if they end the show similar to the opening scene of Salvation. But I would like to see Clark in the DP in his secret idenity (i.e., combed hair and glasses). Maybe he hears someone in need of help and then he does his shirt rip thing. And that's it. I would be happy with that.

I would use the scene where the plane is having problems (the opening scene of the last episode of Season 9) and after showing Superman first's save he meets with Lois at the top of the Daily Planet. They have an cool short dialogue and Superman leaves flying up to the sky SIMILAR to the "Reeve goodbye flight" and flies off camera with some cool music playing in the background.

Ending 1: Shot of the fortress, the suit is gone and nowhere to be seen (like Jericholyte). We see the daily planet and Lois is walking and sees clark with his glasses. They to a little talk. Clark hears a robbery, Lois nods to calrk Clark nods back. He superspeeds away with his glasses in his desk. Lois looks out the window and see a shot of the city and a red clur flies by real fast.

Ending 2 : Everything above except the red blur. instead we start a ongoing shot of scaling the daily planet building like in S9 premiere, we see Clark in fully suit looking over the city:

This is a tough one.

I really hope we're not denied the treat of seeing Welling decked out in the suit. I don't think they'd deny that to the viewers after all these years and the way they seem to be setting things up this year.

That said, any of the aforementioned homage shots from S:TM would do the job, i.e. the space flight/smile, him flying out of the Fortress, running across the street and doing a shirt tear, etc...

I also like some of the ideas mentioned here so far, real nice touches.

I'm kinda hoping they don't end the series with the end of the season, if that makes sense.

Like maybe they could wrap up the season's plots in the episode before last, and have the last episode be for wrapping up the series on going themes, and bringing in all the final elements of the Superman Mythos (glasses, suit, flying, Perry, Jimmy, etc).

The final shot, I want to be of his chest, as he rips open his shirt.

Yeah, if we do in fact get a two hour finale, I'd like for the first hour to wrap up this seasons plot with all the Darkseid/Apokolips stuff and then for the second hour to wrap up the series as a whole.

Yeah that's what I said in another thread, I want the last part of the episode to be an epilogue that possibly skips to the future a year and just shows us a glimpse of Superman's future.

It should show us where EVERYONE is. So for example we have the DP with Lois, Jimmy, Perry etc... then we could have the Justice League... then Ma Kent followed by a run down of villains such as Metallo, Doomsday (awaking from underground), Toyman, Lex (obviously) etc.. and then the final scene should be Clark as Superman stopping a petty crime.

Some woman getting her purse snatched then in real time we see the criminal swooped away and hung off of something. Then the POV of the woman where we see a silhouette slowly descend, then we see Clark in the suit handing the woman her purse back and say something Iconic and then have the camera following him as he flies into space to go back to 'listen' to the Earth.

for me i would say i would want a good showdown/fight with darkseid in phsyical form. Fighting clark in the public so they see clark is their champion.

Clark is standing proudly on the rooftop of the Daily Planet in his Superman suit looking over the city of Metropolis after defeating Darkseid (who has been sent back to Apokolips via boom tube) . Clark reflects back on his journey from an adolescence teen to becoming The Man he is now (covering all the key points of his journey flashback sequence) Lois comes up behind him asking if he's alright , he says he is now he finally feels like he belongs and they share a passionate kiss together as they float upwards into the sky as the sunrises .

All I want to see in some way, is Tom in the suit. I mean head to toe in the suit. A shirt rip with the last shot of the S as he's runs towards the camera just won't cut it anymore.

2. JLA coordinates plan Chloe wonders where Clark is
3. We are now at the fortress, Clark is now wearing the suit in full glory
4. Jor-EL tells Clark ‘You are ready my son, fulfil your destiny’
5. We are now in Metroplois, Chaos has erupted as Darkseid invades
6. JLA arrive and try to stop the Parademons.
7. Next thing you know, a building collapses and is about to fall on Lois who is in the middle of all this
8. Familiar superspeed sound is heard
9. Everyone looks up in awe and cheers, Superman theme plays
10. Camera looks up to see Clark holding the building, zooms out even further, we see Clark is at least 10 or more feet off the ground, thus indicating he can now fly
11. Clark moves building aside
12. Darkseid shoots Omega beams at Superman taunting how pathetic he is and should have joined him as his knight
13. Everyone starts to chant ‘Red-Blue Blur’
14. Superman gets up, and takes on Darkseid(similar to JLU episode)
15. Superman defeats Darkseid
16. Everyone cheers
17. Flash to 1 year later
18. We are at the Daily Planet, camera looks over Lois’s desk, we see the various headlines she had contributed(‘Red-Blue Blur gets named’, ‘Gotham Billionaire Returns’, ‘Lost Amazon Tribe Discovered’, ‘No Evil Shall Escape His Sight’, ‘Atlantis Is Real’, ‘World’s Finest Save The Day’, ‘World Welcomes Justice League&#8217
19. Lois walks over to Clark, who is now wearing his mild-mannered reporter outfit
20. Lois reminds Clark that we must be at the Press Conference.
21. We are now at the Press Conference which is at a Luthorcorp building
22. We are now experiencing a POV shot of someone walking towards the camera
23. Tess walks in wearing a driver’s outfit, telling the person how well he looked after what happened to him
24. A bodyguard goes up to the person and says ‘Welcome back Mr. Luthor’
25. Camera zooms out and we see Michael Rosenbaum on the podium
26. Lex tells what happened to him to the reporters
27. He establishes somehow that he DOES NOT KNOW Clark’s secret
28. Clark uses his superhearing to hear a robbery in progress, Lois notices
29. Clark tells Lois he’s ‘going to use the bathroom’
30. Clark leaves, Lois says ‘Go Get’em Superman’
31. We are now at a Metropolis bank with the robbers tied up
32. Dan Turpin enters the scene and says ‘Thanks Superman’
33. Superman then flies off and is seen above Earth reminiscing about key events that led him to where he is today, and like in the Reeves movies he waves to the camera, winks and flies off with Remy Zero’s ‘Save Me’ playing in the background.
