So whats the type of movie that you are most excited to see? What kind of flick dominates your library?

I'd have to go with (in no real order)
1. Horror
I like the old school horror flicks. I have no use for these new style ones where all of the actors are 20 and beautiful. Give me some good old fashioned 70's exploitation.
2. Drama
A like a good political thriller, one with lots of twists and turns.
3. War
These can be amazing movies, granted they dont get too preachy or move too far from what actually happened.
4. Sci fi
Sci fi flicks are great mind benders, assuming they arent too far out. I like the ones that are set in the present day on earth. Something happening now is much more riveting to me than something from 1,000 years from now.
5. Comic book.
What can I say?

Horror all the way for me, but I also like Action, Adventure, Science Fiction and Comic Book films.

HMm, can't choose just one, honestly. I have maultiple favorites. Mainly being Comic Book, Action/adventure, Horror, Drama, Comedy, and Sci-Fi.

I'd have to say horror, as well. There's just so much flexibility within the genre.

I like Horror and Comedys.

And Sci-fi/action filmd every now and then.

The hell is thriller or suspense?

Crime Dramas.

The Godfather, Goodfellas, Snatch, etc.

I think comic book movies & action are basically the same but oh well. For me it is:

1. Action
2. Comedy
3. Comic Book
4. Drama
5. Animation

I hate picking favorites but I'll have to pick Horror for my favorite genre.

I pretty much like all the picks on the poll quite a lot, well except for straight romance films and I'm really picky when it comes to sports films.

Sci-fi for me, such a wide genre could include sci-fi comedy, sci-fi drama, sci-fi horror, sci-fi action, sci-fi animation, etc. And a bit of comic book, romance, drama & action on the side for me.

Sci-Fi.

I love the escapism of it, but also how existing issues can be reflected in this alien world.

Action would've been number 1, but they haven't been consistantly awesome since the 90's.

action scifi...

horrors and thrillers when there good

Action all the way. People always complain about movies being dumb, but I don't give a ****. These movies are the most entertaining for me, period.

drama is the obvious answer. 90%+ of the great films in movie history are dramas. I like horror films but honestly, there are only a handful really great ones.

Sci-Fi/Comic Books. I'll pick Sci-Fi in the poll because, to me, comic books are an extension of science fiction, and kind of fall into the same category for me. 90% of films that stick with me are Sci-Fi related in some form or another. It's the one I'm most passionate about

My comic book library is incredibly huge. I have nearly everything that Marvel and DC have ever released. Pretty impressive. That dominates my collection. But I really like action films the best. Dramas come in a very close second, though.

I guess drama is my favorite because it's the most broad and encompasses the most movies. Honorable mentions for comedy, action, and sci fi.

Horror. They're just a lot of fun to watch. Bad horror movies are the best because it's fun to make fun.

Drama but it depends how we qualify certain movies....some of my favorite movies:Lost In Translation,Before Sunrise/Sunset can be put both under romance and drama...on the other hand Hero can be put in either war or drama.

1)Drama
2)War+Romance
3)Animation(mostly pixar)

All the other genres (at least for my taste) have very few good movies, probably 3-4 that i really like,so they're far lower on my favorite list.
