Thriller/horror: Would You Rather
Really twisted movie!
Also, The Invitation
It's a very slow build but the climax and ending are worth it.
Se7en is probably my all time favorite thriller.

It was mentioned before but I think, truly ahead of its time by 35 + years, is Dressed to Kill. Well written and the reveal was truly shocking. DePalma is undereated. Also another film of his that should be looked at is Raising Cain.
It's pretty good. Best thing M. Night's done since at least Signs.Anyone seen 'Split' yet? Can't make up my mind if I'm looking forward to it or not?

Ok, so he's back then, kind of had lost faith in M. Night! I'll give it a try!
Split was very good. I wouldn't rank it among his best but it's worth seeing for the score and McAvoy's performance
I must agree, finally saw Split and it was surprisingly good! Is this a one off hit from M. Night Shyamalan or a sign he's back on form you think?
I didn't think it was particularly great but it's a solid thriller. Shyamalan will definitely get to do whatever he wants now with the movie's insanely impressive box office success.
I guess it depends on how you define "thrillers" there are supernatural thrillers, psychological thrillers, spy thrillers......
For me the Bourne trilogy are the greatest spy thrillers.
Have to add a few others:
In the Line of Fire = Eastwood at his best and Malkovich at his most psychotic.
Unknown = because the twist was so well executed.
The International = a vastly underrated film, IMO, and the Guggenheim gunfight is pretty amazing.
Source Code = again a slowly unravelled twist, nice !
Basic Instinct = cheesy in a lot of ways, but fun.
To be honest, the thriller that I find the freakiest has to be Se7en.
That's a film I saw, knowing nothing about it - some real gasps in that one !
