Your Favorite Thrillers?

What about this one Peyton!

I did see it years ago. It wasnt terrible, but Simple Plan with Fonda was better. It reminded me of a stalker type movie by a female. I would give it 6/10.

Original French version of Nikita, and Leon, by Luc Besson - two great thrillers!

Last year's The Neon Demon was one of the most interesting & different thrillers I've seen recently. Definitely not for everyone, but I actually liked it personally.

Similarly, last year's Nocturnal Animals was also a different kind of thriller with great performances by Michael Shannon and unexpectedly, Aaron-Taylor Johnson. Can't really say that I liked the movie that much, but its style actually wasn't too dissimilar from Denis Villeneuve's, just a bit more formulaic & pretentious. And I certainly thought it was the better of Amy Adams' performances last year too (yup, better than she was in Arrival).

I agree, both Neon Demon and Nocturnal Animals were interesting, a bit unusual with art-house thrillers which they basically are, but worth watching if you keep in mind that it's not your usual thrillers!

Have to admit that Basic Instinct have a special place among my favorite thrillers, even though it's cheesy it has a distinct classic Hitchcock quality to it, also the score is iconic. One of the first movies I can remember that kicked off the twist-at-the-end race!

You're Next and The Guest
and now most recently Get Out

Have high hopes for this one coming in the summer, previously released on vod but now released wide as new in the cinemas, odd, but somehow gives me hope!

I can agree with Mississippi Burning now that I watched it again yesterday.
Se7en
Silence of the Lambs

The Game
Changing Lanes
In the Line of Fire

Not my favs, but good ones:

Breakdown
Unlawful Entry
Ransom
Those are one I really enjoy. Changing Lanes deserves a watch from me, I never saw the full movie, but I liked the part I saw of it last time.

No Country for Old Men
The Purge: Anarchy
Both are very interesting movies.

A few of my favourites in the genre.

:awesome: collection.

I think I saw this one before. Is this the one where Julia Roberts is dating a college professor who dies in the explosion of his car? And I think she was chased for having something the ones who killed her boyfriend want.

Big fan of Bourne, one of my favorite action thrillers!

Yeah, the Bourne trilogy was something special, and they saved the best chapter for last.

Sadly, last year's Jason Bourne just didn't come close to the greatness of Ultimatum.

Let's not forget this ! I'm sure clearly not high on anyone's list but, got decent rating on IMDB.

Never heard of this one, does it have anything to do with the Bourne movies?

Yes & No. Its not connected in anyway to the Matt Damon films, but it is the original attempt at a movie for the Bourne character back in 1988 as a TV mini series.

Almost worth seeing then?;)

You seem to be a master at good old thrillers, have you seen an obscure thriller called Possession from 1981 with Sam Neill and Isabella Adjani, check it out if you haven't!
