Sounds like a must watch for me, cause I love these two movies.

I would give the first one a solid 8 and after one view of the sequel I would probably give it an8 as well.

These films are a good modern adaptation of the TV series while adding a bit of ye olde ultra violence and it works for me. The Mcall character is always at the center and I liked that his character material from the first film wasn't forgotten. Now, I can see how this type of film isn't popular with some. It's not in the flashy action category like a Fast And Furious. And while it's closer to probably TAKEN it's a slower burn with it's main plot. But I enjoyed that likely due to Denzel being the great actor he is you are always engaged with him on screen. Plus it's easy to root for him with his morals and the people in need that he champions.

I can say that if someone wasn't happy with the first one I am betting this one will disappoint as well as it's not a radical departure.

All I can really say is go for it. We did and we’re loving it. It’s hard to build an audience though. I’d suggest sticking to what’s current for topics if it’s a blog. Get as much content out as you can and try to make yours different to everyone else’s.
