I honestly could not get into Doctor Strange but I really did like seeing the character in Infinity War.

One of the first white women I ever loved as a kid was that chick from the original Clash of The Titans. C.lee knows what i'm talking about. Anyway, I read that she married some guy who did magic on a cruise line and never went back to acting.

When Godzilla was in the throws of his cocaine addiction Gamera was called on by the court to take custody and act In Loco Parentis for a couple of years. Godzilla's coke jag is really what started the whole Kong rivalry. They had been quite good friends. As you know Godzilla was the Japanese president of the King Kong fan society and he often talks about how the response to a fan letter than Kong personally wrote to him gave him the confidence to tell his parents he wanted to go into professional monsterism. Kong was very supportive of Godzilla in his early career but then one night Godzilla was on a bender and at the Whiskey A Go Go and Kong comes in with his entourage and suddenly Godzilla just starts off with all these epithets, "Mammal this" and "monkey that". It was a meltdown... Literally as he melted the establishment down via his atomic breath. Kong was shocked and he threw the first punch. Jet Jaguar had to separate them but that's how it all got started. Two years later when Toho, behind Godzilla's back mind you, asked Kong if he'd be up to fight his erstwhile friend he agreed. Godzilla for his part thought the deal was a stab in the back.


Luckily these days both are on good terms which I think not only has to do with both getting their drug and alcohol dependencies in check but their spiritual paths as well. We all know about Godzilla's evolution from Shinto to Catholicism but it's not as widely well known that Kong went from the Baptist faith of his youth to being a Zen Buddhist.
