Your Only Meaningful Relationship Is With An Inflatable Wrestling Thread - Part 239

You keep saying you don't care while calling my criticisms an obsession. If you didn't care, you wouldn't keep typing up these responses. It's a weak method of argumentation where you keep attempting to marginalize an opinion you don't agree with by calling it "obsessing" or "nitpicking". Your need to do that demonstrates quite clearly that you do care, but cannot be bothered to come up with a counter argument. Otherwise you'd just scroll right past the posts.

All I did was post a criticism, my off the cuff reaction to seeing that the Shane/AJ storyline was progressing. Then I listed reasons why. I didn't feel the need to question or attack your level of dedication or interest in wrestling for not minding so much about Styles being wasted. I simply stated reasons why I didn't agree.

And I don't need you to agree with me. That's not what this is about. I expect that the majority of people who read my posts don't agree with them. But not everyone half-picks an argument and then backs out of it with lazy conveniences.

but you going on like your assertions are facts can be a bit grating

I'm not going to qualify every observation or opinion I have. I understand that my posting style can be frank, sarcastic, or even arrogant but I don't attack people or attempt to dictate how they post. I don't take it personally when people disagree or even when they do attack, but I will point out bad arguments when I see them and I try not to employ them myself.

I heard that John Cena is going to have a role in a Mark Wahlberg movie and not just any Mark Walhberg movie, Daddy's Home 2......which is stupid. Does that film need a sequel? It just seems unnecessary.

And Batista in Escape Plan 2? Seriously? The first one wasn't all that good.

Why does this movie need a sequel?

I heard this post was a sequel. Did we really need another? It just seems unnecessary.

Heading back to my posting semi retirement. Good to see some things never change.

Lets change the subject and talk about The Rock.

I was there for that show today. Orton and AJ had a good match. A nice ic title match between Dean, Corbin, Miz and Harper, Wyatt beat Cena with a low blow, and Lesnar destroyed Owens (KO got licks in early when he ambushed brock while he was taking his shirt off). They did a nice spot where KO was attempting a moonsault but Lesnar grabbed on the second rope and German suplexed him from there. Total domination after that.

spoiler regarding Bully Ray from the ROH TV tapings
Bully Ray and the Briscoes defeated the Kingdom (with Silas Young filling in for an injured TK O'Ryan) for the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship.

That adds yet another title from a major promotion to his already stellar resume. Between WWF/E, ECW, TNA, ROH, and NJPW:
8X ECW World Tag Team Champion
8X WWF (World) Tag Team Champion
1X WWE Tag Team Champion
1X WCW World Tag Team Champion
8X WWF Hardcore Champion
2X TNA World Heavyweight Champion
2X TNA World Tag Team Champion
1X NWA-TNA World Tag Team Champion
2X IWGP (Heavyweight) Tag Team Champion
1X ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champion

Other accomplishments:
TNA Hall of Fame
AJPW World's Strongest Tag Determination League Champion

So it looks like Ray and the Briscoes are going to feud with Silas, Beer City Bruiser, and whoever their mystery partner for Supercard of Honor is

If the WWE concussion lawsuit gets mainstream attention, does he sever ties with the WWE?

I mean I couldn't tell you what The Rock is going to do there because only the biggest movie star in the world, The Rock knows that, because he's The Rock.

Hopefully that's a sign that she's not long for the NXT roster. She needs to move on soon. I love her theme song as well as it's cool. Those masks are going to be hot sellers when she goes up on the main roster. Cageside Seats is running a tally on her wins, which according to them is 155-0, 13 away from Goldberg's streak.

Man, NXT has been hitting out of the park in regards to theme songs recently. Asuka, Nakamura, Roode, Ohno, Ember Moon, Alestair Black all kick ass songs. I also like entrance themes of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Sasha. Those are my current favorite entrance themes in the WWE right now.

So, this leads me to an interesting topic: Favorite current themes in WWE? Favorite all time themes in WWE? My all time favorites include Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, New World Order Black and White, Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels.

Wish I went to the MSG show today. Completely forgot about it until I saw posts in IG. I don't regret missing seeing Lesnar live again, though.

Taminia is back. Looks like she is on the Smackdown roster.

Really? Would be nice if she would get more focus, i always liked her wrestling style...she came to the wwe at a unfortunate time and was never really well used.

Before he was in NXT, Rezar was an MMA fighter:

Eric LeGrand to receive Warrior Award at 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Eric LeGrand, a former standout for the Rutgers University football team-turned-motivational speaker, has been named the recipient of the third annual Warrior Award. The news was first reported by ESPN.com.

Named after WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior, The Warrior Award is presented to an individual who has exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who lives life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of Ultimate Warrior.

The award will be presented to LeGrand by Dana Warrior, widow of Ultimate Warrior, at the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will broadcast from Orlando, Florida's Amway Center live on WWE Network at 8 ET/5 PT on Friday, March 31. USA Network will also broadcast a special presentation of the ceremony on Monday, April 3 at 11 p.m. ET/PT, immediately following Raw.

LeGrand was a key player on the Rutgers University football team, before a spinal cord injury sustained during a game in October 2010 left him paralyzed from the neck down. LeGrand's tremendous courage and unwavering strength throughout his rehabilitation captured the attention of the nation. He resumed his college classes via Skype and launched his sports broadcasting career as an analyst for Rutgers Football Radio Network. LeGrand founded the charity Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation in 2013, and is now a highly sought-after motivational speaker. In support of LeGrand's mission – raising funds for research to find a cure for paralysis and to help improve the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries – WWE will make a $25,000 donation to Team LeGrand.

"It is an absolute honor to be named the 2017 Warrior Award recipient," said LeGrand. "I am truly grateful for WWE's support of my personal journey, and I am proud to continue to be an example of strength for people everywhere."

"Eric LeGrand has shown incredible perseverance and unwavering positivity throughout his recovery," said Stephanie McMahon, WWE Chief Brand Officer. "From the work he does helping others with spinal cord injuries to his motivational speaking, Eric is the perfect choice for this prestigious award."

"Eric LeGrand truly embodies the Warrior spirit with his determination and positive outlook," said Dana Warrior. "I am honored to present this year's Warrior Award to Eric at the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony."

Last year, The Warrior Award was presented to Joan Lunden, an award-winning journalist, best-selling author and breast cancer survivor. In 2015, the award was presented for the first time to Connor Michalek, a Pittsburgh native and passionate WWE fan who passed away after battling cancer. In his honor, Connor's Cure was created as a fund to support pediatric brain and spinal cord cancer research. To date, Connor's Cure has raised $1 million and assisted more than 100 families around the world.
