1) Kingdom Come
2) Red Son
3) Batman: Year One

That's it for me since I haven't read that many.

1- Kingdom Come
2- TDKR
3- Year One
4- Joker

5. Year One
4. Batman: Earth One
3. Batman: Death by Design
2. Batman: Noel

...and I cannot think of a favorite, right now. I'll edit this later, when I have more time to determine the one I enjoy the most.

Assuming we're including TPB's in this...

1. All-Star Superman
2. Watchmen
3. Superman: Red Son
4. Kingdom Come
5. Superman: Birthright

The Killing Joke
Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth
Watchmen
It took me a while to warm up to it for some reason but I really like Batman Noel

For Tomorrow
Hush
Red Son
Identity Crisis
Green Lantern Rebirth

Bonus Aquaman the thirst.

Not sure about the order...

Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War
All-Star Superman
Batman: Dark Victory
Animal Man: Deus Ex Machina
DC: The New Frontier

Special mentions - Batman: Year One, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Infinite Crisis, 52, Superman: Up, Up and Away, JLA: Rock of Ages, Batman: Birth of the Demon, The Killing Joke

I'll make a confession too: I still haven't finished Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns

I'm just gonna say I thought Sinestro Corps War was awesome.

1.) Kingdom Come
2.) Arkham Asylum : A Serious House on Serious Earth
3.) Hush
4.) Justice League : The Nail
5.) Lex Luthor : The Unauthorized Biography

1) Kingdom Come
2) Superman: Red Son
3) Batman: Dark Victory
4) Superman For All Seasons
5) Identity Crisis

Forgetting Watchmen & Sandman for a moment and just sticking with the mainstream DCU these are mine in no particular order

New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
The Flash: Blitz
Batman: Strange Apparitions
Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
JLA: Rock of Ages

Sandman

The entire run, starting from the beginning. It's available in several different trade forms.

1.) Kingdom Come
2.) Arkham Asylum : A Serious House on Serious Earth
3.) Hush
4.) Justice League : The Nail
5.) Lex Luthor : The Unauthorized Biography

I always thought about getting Kingdom Come how do you rate it.

One of the Greatest Graphic Novels of all damn time.

1.Kingdom Come (Always wanted it need to get it I know)
2.Superman: Birthright
3.Batman: Year one
4.Batman: Hush
5.Superman: Origins

None of these are "graphic novels" in the strictest sense, but I'll go with DCU stories that are collected all in one volume.

1. All-Star Superman
2. Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
3. Kingdom Come
4. Batman: Year One
5. Batman: The Long Halloween

Honorable Mentions: Batman: The Killing Joke, Superman: Secret Identity, Superman For All Seasons, Batman: Ego, The New Frontier (it's 2 books if you don't count the absolute edition)

1.Kingdom Come (Always wanted it need to get it I know)
2.Superman: Birthright
3.Batman: Year one
4.Batman: Hush
5.Superman: Origins

I know it's your opinion but why have two Superman origins kn this list?

-Kingdom Come
-New Frontier
-Justice
-Dark Knight Returns
-Watchmen

I've always loved Elseworlds and what ifs, so I'll kick most of those out :p

1) Whatever happened to the Caped Crusader? (I know it was originally two issues in the series but it was collected in a tpb so I'm counting it)
2) Kingdom Come
3) Killing Joke
4) Justice Vol. 1, the other two volumes are alright but I absolutely fell in love with the villains all teaming up and kidnapping, banishing or just destroying the heroes in a single co-ordinated attack so none can call for help and it's just masterfully done. The other two volumes are meh compared to it.

Can't really think of a fifth I'd rank with those on my all time favorites list.

In no particular order:

Superman: Secret Identity
New Frontier
Kingdom Come
Superman Batman: Public Enemies
Batgirl: The Lesson

Yes truly epic......it really conveys the importance of Superman among superheroes and mankind. Waid and Ross hit it waaay out of the park. I cannot imagine it being topped. I reread it and listen to the audio quite often. Current DC is leaving me wanting. :csad:
