By now everyone should have caught up on the large bulk of 2008 movies, so what makes up you top 10 ? This is not a critical thing where you analyze it to see if it is "Awards worthy" this is simply your top ten favourite movies of 2008 :)

Ten is tough for me, because 6-10 and beyond are always flip of a coin. So I'm going to give my surefire top 5, and a few honorable mentions. There are several films I haven't seen from the year, but I feel pretty damn passionate about the following five:

Last year was really bad. Only Benjamin Button and TDK were good. This year how ever, this might possibly be the second best movie year of the history of movies in my life. Second only, to the year that the MGS + Star Trek 2 films will be released and directed by JJ Abrams.

Oh crap! How could I forget TDK! Overall, I wasn't blown away by this film, but damn Heath Ledger! Never did I think he could out-do his Ennis Del Mar performance in "Brokeback Mountain." More like I didn't expect THAT performance (as The Joker) so soon. So brilliant and mesmerizing.

TDK's been added to my list at #5.

narnia? twlight? really?

I enjoyed them. That's all. I saw Narnia 5 times in the theater, actually. As far as Twilight, only once at the midnight show. I enjoyed the books and thought the film lived up to most of the characters portrayed.

I'm sure my list would change if I saw more films. Especially, the Oscar nominated ones like Milk, Benjamin Button, The Reader, Doubt, and The Wrestler. I really ought to make it point to see those five before they're taken out from the theater.

I just thought about it. I laughed my butt off when I saw Pineapple Express and didn't put it on my list! Aurgh! Goes to show I shouldn't do these Top 10 lists at 2am. :wow: PE will be my #6.

And I need to add Wanted as well. Watching that film with my mom was a riot. "Oh, my! It's so violent and all the swearing!" Hahaha. :p
