Wall-E can go f**k itself. Number 1? My God, that movie gets too much love.

Tell me, what the hell is the appeal about a robot that is by himself on a planet that doesn't talk only then goes into space interacting with another robot who doesn't talk?

Dark Knight is not on the list. Im sure time magazine IS aware of that....they're bold enough to give their opinion!...some critics would just put it in there just because everyone else has it on their list.
So one website doesnt have TDK on their top ten...and EVERYONE ELSE does....and you guys STILL freak out. Jesus.

I thought 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days was complete crap. I thought the director's decision for mostly every scene to be one long take was lazy. And Wall E was wonderful, so I have no issue with it being that high on the list. Speed Racer was an exciting and fun movie, but I don't think it's top 10 material. Dark Knight was very good, so I think it deserves to be in the top 3. But it's their list and they can put whatever they want on it.

Yeah, I think that's what happened with me. It was the first Pixar movie that I was REALLY excited about seeing, but I ended up getting a little bit bored with it. The first half is pretty good, but the second (I won't tell you what happens because I don't want to ruin anything) just kind of drags on a feels a little too silly. At least that's how I felt about it. But it apparently gave every critic in America an orgasm, so what do I know.

I hated Finding Nemo too! The most overrated Pixar film. It's so goddamn annoying as hell and never seems leave you alone. When I was in fifth grade, this is all we watched and it drove me crazy.

Toy Story is numero uno. Always will be.

Why the hell does everyone seem to jump on the pixar bandwagon. "OH MY GOD! THE MOST ORIGINAL AND BEST FILM THIS YEAR!!"

I know! When TDK was really a great film that deserved to be on the list rather than Speed Racer.

Roger Ebert's Top 20 was better and very honest: He listed 20 movies (the ones I've seen on the list are deserving) and lists them alphabetically. No need for the arbitrary "ordered" list.

Time's was okay. I still need to see Milk, Doubt, Syncedoche, New York, Defiance, Rachel Getting Married, Slumdog Millionaire, Australia and Frost/Nixon at least before I could make a deserving list. So I will reserve judgement on others.

Because they actually make quality films. You may not think so, but millions of others do. You're just so hell bent that your precious Dark Knight wasn't #1 on one magazines list, so you take it out on poor Wall E. God forbid.

I don't get it either. Are they good movies? Sure, at least most of them. But is every single one that comes out automatically the most entertaining movie of the year? Hell, no.

And for the record, I'm not putting down Pixar because I love TDK. TDK wasn't on this particular list. Okay, fine. I wouldn't have a problem with the list if SPEED RACER wasn't on there. Who really cares what someone else thinks were the better movies of 2008.
I would have had Hellboy II on my list but I'm not about to go insane because someone else didn't.

The film isnt that bad, its an adaption and my dad who GREW up on the Cartoon said that it was just awesome! Loved it, its got action,romance, humor,drama. It was great it deserves credit where credit is due. Is it top ten worthy, no but neither is Syncedoche. So I mean i respect what your saying but calling it something its isnt really, kinda bothers me. Oh and i would prefer TDK but Ebert is the only critic i like.
