Time Magazine’s Top 10 Best Films of 2008

Does it really matter what Time magazine says? I'm sure other magazines would have different movies in their top 10 list, but do they matter?

Top 10 lists are just opinions, the only thing that should matter is if you saw the movie and liked it....If you did like it then is was money well spent, and it shouldn't matter what some list says.

Why do you care so much that people are upset about TDK's omission? They have a legitimate right to be upset about THIS list regardless of how many lists TDK actually does make.
Really?.

Well I personally find A LOT of TDK fans to be VERY annoying. Its like a kid who gets birthday money from everyone in his family except one or two people and he throws a hissy fit.
Its just stupid....as I said TDK will be on at least 95% of critics 'top films of the year' lists...so ONE list decided not to put on their list and they get a bunch of "**** you"s.

Btw, Im not upset...just a little annoyed (big difference). I love TDK but I feel like TDK fans can be very similar to Twilight fans. I just want them to understand: The movie made 500 + million bucks domestic and is critically aclaimed, and possibly might get many oscar nominations.....so **** already....geez.

Iron Man being on that list is simply ridiculous.

Its 2008's Transformers and not near the level of brilliance demonstrated in films like The Dark Knight.

i'm tired of hearing slumdog millionaire is the best movie of the year . i'll come around to seeing it eventually but not excited. basically someone makes a simple story without special effects and it wins big time but what makes that brilliant.

It has a stronger lead actor. Everyone LOVED Tony Stark. He carried the entire movie even with a lame villian which makes a movie like TDK great.

you see ur avatar...have u seen that movie? did it have any special effects that were crazy?

youre reasoning is pretty stupid for judging slumdog...This movie is as powerful and entertaining as city of god. These movies are harder to do then special effects juggernaut films sometimes because, here you are going straight on dangerous and tough locations for filming
