The only time I've ever ran a red light was at the light by my workplace last year.

The light is so freaking long, ESPECIALLY in the middle of the night, which is when I get off work.

But this time it was even worse. I swear I sat there at that light for at least 5 minutes, and it never changed. No sign of any traffic ANYWHERE but me, and here I am waiting 5 minutes for it to change.

Finally I just gave up and turned left, running the light. I figured if a cop would stop me I'd tell him to time the light just to see how long it has been red.

I got all the way down the street (about 10 blocks before the light was out of view) and it STILL never changed before I was out of view!
