z0mG! Resident Evil is aMaZiNg!!!

RE4 is one of the best games I've ever played, evar.

It's a thrill all the way through, with that awful claustrophobia feeling you get throughout it.

scary bits? I felt the Regenerators near the end crapped me up, especially when you came across them being worked on...

on, and looking at Ashley whilst she's above you using the scope? awesome

It is a good game. RE2 is classic though. The best zombie killing game around.

However, the best RE game is easily RE4 (the Gamecube version is better, though fewer extras after you beat it). That is one of the best games ever made.

Word son. Leon Kennedy manages to be badass inspite of the emo cut. Now thats one hell of feat.

Those Regenerators make any part of the game they're in scary. I started on RE4, so when I tried to go back and play RE2, it was just too ancient for me. I wish the villagers had ran more in RE4, though. If Leon moved like Hayden from Dark Sector, AND the Ganados/monks/soldiers ran 80% of the time, it would have been WAYYYYYYYY scarier. Also, there should have been an ability to switch weapons in real-time. Otherwise, it was a perfect game. The graphics, characters, and gameplay were fantasatic, while the story was only great.

Last time I played, the monks/villagers couldn't stop running. So it was scary enough.

In all honesty, it's a bit weird saying a game scared me to no end, and I even had to hold some sort of celebration party when I got rid of both of the chainsaw men, I forgot their names...Dr something? Yeah, they terrified me.

RE4 is a great game. But it's NOT Resident Evil. It doesnt have the feel, or any of the other common threads that really tie the RE games together. I love it, dont get me wrong, but it should have been a side game, not a main RE game. RE5 looks like it's fixing some of the issues I had with 4 though, so I'm looking forward to it.

Personally, I think it was a good direction to go. I mean, they more or less burned themselves out on the whole zombie in enclosed areas idea. While I could have used more traditional enemies myself, I think overall, the plagas were a good way to go.

Loved the control scheme too.

You called that running!?! If you saw someone do tht in real life, you would call it jogging. Hell, the Regenerators moved just as fast when they did their stumbling walk. All the parts with them and anyone with a chainsaw were RE style creepy to me.

I want there to be a lower ammo v. enemy count ratio this time around, so you can feel desperation as the zombies keep coming and you only have six shells and a flashbang left. I also want the slow walk while aiming and shooting from Dark Sector, and I want the RE team to take from Condemned the ability to have a useful melee weapon that you can interchange with objects from the environments, and you can actually move when you equip it. I always loved that about Condemned. Even if you didn't have any bullets, you could still defend yourself.

First time I ever played this game(RE1 PS1) I couldn't finish it, I was to scared. Then my older brother gave me his old RE2 game and I fell in love. that's been almost 10 years ago, and I've been a zombie lover ever since.

I've never been truely scared by a game, except for Doom 3 and a little bit of RE4. I plan on buying the next Silent Hill. Is there any word on a new one yet?

!?!

The regenerators moved as fast as the villagers, you say? Erm, no they didn't.

But yeah, I said they were running...I didn't say they were sprinting towards me or anything :s

When They Did Their Weird Stumbling Walk They Were Almost As Fast, At The Very Least.
