Justice League Zack Snyder Directing Justice League - Part 8

He already looked bad a week ago when he had an embarrassing Alex Jones meltdown over Pattinson. Now he only looks worse.

In January he lost his mind over Ahsoka potentially beating Maul in the final season of Clone Wars. Called Ahsoka Dave Filoni's *********ory character and said "F#¤% Dave Filoni" multiple times.

We dont know yet but i doubt they will release it in black & white. It will 99% be colour.
The b/w poster is probably a stylistic choice.

Well I guess that is good know. Normally, I wouldn't doubt such things but Snyde has been known to make some questionable artistic choices for his films at times.

Between all of black and white photos that he's shared on Vero and how it was revealed that he had shown a black and white cut of the film to the executives earlier this year, can't blame me for wondering if he was going to release the cut in normal color format.

So is 20-30M enough for a week's reshoot? Or is that enough only for ADR and BTS crews? It's good that they can help secure some jobs and incomes at this stage.

If it's just dubbing I could see a variation on the History Lesson. Heck, gets Russel Crowe or the lady who played the AI in BvS. I'm excited to listen to Amy Adams' voice over at some stage, the original version in the promo.

I am really excited about the History lesson though, we get to see it in full glory with a proper score. I'm sure it will be a prologue, that's ZS' style.

If Garcia's promoting Cavill it probably means they've done a deal or they're putting their hands up to negotiate again. Very cool to see him popping in. Hope we hear a MOS2 soon.

I now wonder if we'll see a Lost type format where we get maybe an episode each for the newcomers - Ray, Jason and Ezra, and mid season finale would be a team up round 1 vs SW, then more individual arcs until the big finale.

I do think they can kinda fend off Darkseid at the end to tease his return in the future, on film, wasn't there a proposal type of scene he wanted to shoot in the original?

I don't know if Ray can get a series/film of his own, but it's totally possible to have a season 2 with him as the lead, cameos from the big stars, maybe integrate with JL Dark and/or GLC on HBOMax. Joe might actually get a series or be part of that season 2. Probably won't drive the main narrative in DCEU but a side story and content for HBOMax going forward.

Zack said something about Supergirl mid streaming, did he say anything later about her?

That’s ****ing embarrassing!! Hahaha I love this.
To be fair to Campea, he has always denied that a finished Snyder Cut(with completed VFX, sound, music, etc.) existed, and never really denied the existence of the cut as a whole like the others featured on the video have said, and technically he was proven 100% correct as a completed version of Snyder’s cut really doesn’t exist...yet. Warners will have to invest more money into actually getting it in completed shape(which won’t happen until next year).

Holkenborg's score for the Snyder cut better be closer to Alita than for Man of Steel. Alita is one of his best works IMO.

I think it's just his promo in black and white today, he's got special visuals so pretty sure he'll utilize that

All I'll say is... you better hope this news makes people sign up for HBO Max in the upcoming week... An uptick in subs could mean they'll throw even more money at Snyder.

I told myself i wasnt gonna be petty but....wheres that Wall Street Journal dude at now? :funny:

Dude, they're all going to be back. This all but confirms the DCEU is back. After the Snyder Cut in 2021, expect all standalones to happen. Henry will get another solo. There's no doubt.

...ha, I needed a good quarantine laugh.

This is so weird. We’re basically getting a new Justice League film.

I’m curious if they’ll change the awful design of Steppenwolf

Just deleting of the opening song and Steppenwolf, whole fixing Superman’s cgi lip... and this film would go from a 3/10 to maybe a decent 6/10.

The only thing about that is.....if I know that ZSJL isn't coming out until 2021, why would I sign up in May 2020?

Well, Carpenter got 10 Million in 1980 to shoot extra scenes for Halloween’s television cut, which resulted in like 10 minutes of film... while Halloween only cost 300,000 to shoot the full original film in 1978.

You lock in a discount rate for a year long subscription, like a lot of Disney+ subscribers did.

Ah, I see! I'm not overly familiar with their subscription options so that makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

will hbo max have all of wb's library then?

because that will be a lot of good stuff.

I feel like a bulk of the budget is going to go into completely reconfiguring the third act battle with Steppenwolf. I think we’re in for an almost all new epic action set piece with that trademark dynamic Zack Snyder style action that he’s known for.

It's a shame that the folks at Warner Bros Media couldn't come to this agreement a year earlier. Imagine if this was announced last year with the final cut premiering this May. Well, better late than never.

And just like true businessmen, WB announces a release date of June '21. :funny:
But only after launch day when people are locked in for that year, lol. I could totally see that happening for real.

Not all at once, but that's the general idea. And yeah, even just in the launch day titles, there's a lot of classics on there. WB also has arguably the best TV library in existence, imo.
