Martian Manhunter is one of my overall favourite DC characters. It feels like it would be too expensive to include him (and for him to look good) from scratch though in a film that was pretty much done. A background hint and a quick visual would be great though.

Ok, so now that the news has settled in... can we talk about how this cut may very well solely be B&W?

I just realized all of Snyder's prior teases of his cut were monochrome, and even the now officially released poster for the HBO release is totally void of color:

I always thought they were cool alternative choices to watch the movies in (Logan, Mad Max, Parasite, etc.), but the only version? Seems like a waste.

Someone posted the live stream on YT for anyone interested. Henry pops up around the 2:30:00 mark and the Snyder cut announcement is at the 3:11:24 mark.

Just double checking but it's been confirmed that he's not releasing this in black and white color format right? Between the photos that he's shared and how it was stated that he showed a "black and white" edition to the executives just wanted to make sure that we are still getting this in color format.

We dont know yet but i doubt they will release it in black & white. It will 99% be colour.
The b/w poster is probably a stylistic choice.

Just to be clear, is it post production or will actors reshoot certain scenes????

Im guessing some new scenes will be shot. Zack did tease some new additional photography may happen and it probably will albeit in a small scale.

my only problem with zack snyder is why does he always need 3-4 hours to tell a story

It may well be a 4 hour movie. Expect 3 to 5 episodes. That would be my guess.

I'm just very interested in hearing from Ben and Gal now. I also wonder if Ezra's CW cameo will tie into this cut. WB pushed for that and it came after Snyder's JL was a go.

Wonderful news and I can't wait to finally see it. If nothing more comes of this, I am just happy to see the movie as it was intended.

Indeed. With respect to those who legitimately enjoyed Whedon's cut, that film is Justice League in name only. So, it feels damn good to be finally getting the movie I'd been wanting to see since the project was first announced way back in 2014. Granted, a good bit of my enthusiasm has waned since the old days (especially in light of what all transpired over the years), but I'm here for this in spades.

He already looked bad a week ago when he had an embarrassing Alex Jones meltdown over Pattinson. Now he only looks worse.
