They should have made MoS2 and a solo Batman movie before BvS.

Would have worked except for the pesky thing like Nolan's Batverse which was still in rearview.

I however believe that if solo MOS 2 & Batman were made after MOS, there would not have been BvS. Instead, they would probably have made MOS 2 (Snyder), Batman (some director) & Wonder Woman (non-Jenkins) solo leading to JL (non-Snyder).

EDIT: actually it's prolly MM warning Bruce with the footage they shot that was originally intended to be GL.

Maybe my mind will change but right now an entire movie with Cavill looking at the camera like a frowny block of wood sounds...agonizing to watch. All green screen back drops. The two people with the most personality or charm in the cast (Momoa & Gadot) not really present. I’ll pass.

If it was greenlit and a trailer came out that changed my mind, great. But I’d rather see Cavill play a happy Superman in the future or none at all. I’ve had enough of his mopeyness.

Im surprised you all are surprised. I thought it was pretty much a given that Snyder was gonna add a coda of sorts teasing the future. This was never gonna end with “The End.” Its gonna end with “The war has just begun, the saga continues...”

Thats most definitely coming the stuff he filmed last Fall.

You have all kinds on versions, all kinds of tones in different continuities with the multiverse. If you wanna see a light Superman story, you got it. You want a detective Batman and Keaton Batman? You got it. When you have so many options to pick and choose from, seems kinda weird to see people still complaining about the more darker elseworld take on hbo max. People enjoy different things, nothing wrong with it

The thing is, I don't think WB is actually interested in having different iterations of the same characters on screen at the same time (outside of maybe Keaton in the Flash). They're emphasizing the multiverse angle just so they don't have to pay any attention to continuity between films. Whenever sth doesn't line up it's the multiverse.

This time they will be measuring the success (or lack thereof), how many new subscribers, how many people actually watched it legally, the churn rate, viewership metrics and then decide, they won't be looking at YT and twitter fan reactions.

Exactly, they should just let this arc play out now. There’s money there and WB don’t want the headache fans are gonna cause.

I'm almost 100% positive that despite the "massive cliffhanger" the movie is going to end on a satisfying enough note where IF there is nothing more then it will be satisfying. The League is gonna beat Steppenwolf, the JL will be formed but there will be a little coda at the very end, a flash forward to the Knightmare world where it tells us that this battle is far from over.

I think it’ll have an ending then a cliffhanger ending, if that makes sense lol

My two cents on the cliffhanger is, JL save the day all happy and hopeful. Then we cut to the Knightmare scene, ends with Bruce waking up and MM warning him the war is still coming or some shiz.

As for fans campaigning for more, there’s no issue with that imo, it’s just the way to do it. If people are respectful and continue to raise money for Suicide prevention then I don’t think anyone should be saying they’re entitled. Also as a consumer you have a right to have an opinion on what you want. After all we are the paying customer here.
