Hahaha..

So that Vanity Fair article was pretty good ( I'm late I know). Except for the part where they they interview toxic blue check marks to talk about toxic trolls

The comparison to WW84's numbers will let us know how much of a success it is, even GvK's. Those two are good benchmarks. If it does real well, I'm sure we will hear about some kinda movement like Ayer cut announced/Joker spinoff etc, which will tell us everything we need to know.

Neilson estimated that WW84 was viewed 14.9M times in it's 1st week. There doesn't seem to be any new released for subsequent weeks or for the month it was on HBO Max.

Man, all these numbers and stuff is cool...but what's cooler is this movie exists and is coming out in 15 days. That's what matters at the end of the day. Always gonna be a win regardless of anything else, and whatever comes after is just cherry on top.

Oh I agree. The movie coming out is what is important. But, fan speculation on the future is what we do, lol.

The 2 hurdles any future sequel will have is who pays for it and can Zack get everyone back? That won't be easy or cheap to do. That is why I say it isn't a simple no brainer. I don't know enough about what it would have to do to convince them to spend the money. Really no one here does. So time is gonna tell on it all.

No Doubt. I was just being facetious.

I am sure it would be very complicated but IF they want to do it , it will happen.
Depending on how the story is written, it could be focused on just a few characters predominantly and be a more intimate story.

There could be entire segments on Apokolips with CG and VFX using the volume FX. Who knows, but it is fun to speculate.

Just happy for what is coming in a few days now!

3rd hurdle is time. I know everyone here would lose their s' if it said, Cavil/Affleck will be back in ____ in 2022. HBO Max would need to rely on other things to make it past the next few years.

This is from TC, I suppose this will look even better now with new Steppy added in with more polished Vfx and color grading.

I'm less worried about that because HBO Max and At&t should already be being their ducks in a row on various exclusives. They no doubt have shows and exclusive movies in the works we do not know about yet. So that I don't see being a factor really. If they deem it financially viable, even if it's 2022 or 2023, then it should happen.

According to Fisher, he just spoke with Terrio, who recently screened ZSJL, and Terrio described it as epic and Lord of the Ringsesque.

I’m not even that big into LoTR but thats certainly the vibe i see Snyder going for and thats what I love about this. This is like his Ragnorak.

If they are filming Peacemaker and GLC, those will definitely becoming out first. However, I doubt the turnaround time between JL and any spinoff would be less than 2 years.

I think just cracking Nielsen's top 10 would be huge since it's usually heavily dominated by Netflix

That's true. But they will have other content coming down the pipe line. It's not like they would approve that and suspend working on other projects in the interim. How much they are spending on content and where this fits in their whatever year plan would def be a factor in their calculus.
