To put in other words or to branch off from @dhandler01, let's say that JL2 could be crowdfunded. It's a lot easier for everyone to spend other people's money and I know most people here aren't millionaires but would anyone here be conformable giving $5-10k of their own money investing in JL2? I love Star Wars, and maybe before Solo, I would have invested but that one time out of 11 is not something I gamble with anymore.

Sony has made way better spiderman movies than MCU has. Spider-man is my favourite character (next to batman) and I hate mcu spidey and his entire world.

So yeah.....I trust sony over disney at this point

Yep.

Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Into the Spider-Verse are classics. And I would say that The Amazing Spider-Man and even Spider-Man 3 are on par with Marvel Studios' offerings.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is the only genuinely bad movie in the franchise and that's because Sony got greedy.

For me, the amazing spider-movies are my favourites and I also love spider-verse. I think the first two raimi movies are enjoyable even though very cheesy. Spider-man 3 is truly awful though.

So yeah: I love some of the most hated movies (amazing spider-man 1 & 2, man of steel, and batman v superman).

Not trying to get sidetracked here but I am all about and love The Raimi Trilogy and both Amazing Spidey films over Homecoming and Far From Home. Funny thing is though I enjoy Tom’s Spidey in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame.

Anywayyyyy @spideyfan77 you're not alone in loving films that are hated. Especially if we want to stay on topic now of DCEU. MOS and BvS ultimate edition are two of my all time favorite CBM’s. MOS and actually Superman Returns are my two favorite Superman films. Not ashamed to say that one bit.

Oh god...the "Jenny Olsen" meltdowns before MOS were the stuff of legend! Beyond the fact that it was just a bunch of incels who just can't stand strong women...there was zero evidence of it anyways! I think that is partially what lead to the CBR board shutdown/rebirth.

I’ve noticed that a lot of those hardcore fans dont want this movie to end on a hopeful, satisfying note. They want the last shot of the movie to be Lois getting omega-beamed in the face by Darkseid with a “to be continued...” tag. I dont...understand it man.

As many of you know I will go to the grave defending TASM series since I loved it and it was based off of Ultimate Spider-Man and had Spider-Man act like Spider-Man and not Iron Man Jr. Also that series still has the best web swinging to date. And let's not forget had the deal not fallen through TASM series was supposed to be set in the MCU with Avengers tower appearing in the first movie but they were too far along in post to add it.
