Legend of Zelda Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64

One of the best games ever. Ganon wasn't hard. Especially if you had the Biggoron Sword.

I thought he was pretty easy too. I loved it, never get tired of beating it over and over.

When I played that game it was a lot harder than it is now. Mind you it was cutting edge in 1998, I was a lot younger and there were few games like it. But I thought Ganon wasn't too hard (but some of the bosses were pretty difficult for me).. Then again I've beaten it likes 7 times now.

Anyway, I was blown away by this game in 1998/99 and it remains my favorite video game of all time and one I can't help but smiling when I think about it.

I thought that the spirit and water temple were the toughest. I had a guide to help me on some parts. What's your favorite temple?

It was okay.

Nah kidding, it was like the best game ever.

My fave temple was the Fire Temple. Loved going into the mountain to get to it. Had one of the best weapons, good puzzles, and Volvagia was the best boss in the game.

I liked fire as well, it's a temple you can beat easily. Volvagia is a good boss, Gannon seemed hard at first but he got easy after knowing what to do.

This. Definately this.
Although I think Majora's Mask is better overall.

The Spirit Temple was heaven. <3

Some of my favorite game music ever.

loved the music too, to be honest I didn't care for the game in your spoiler so much, I don't know why...But loved OOT:woot:

My favorite is probably a tie between the Forest Temple, Fire Temple and Spirit Temple. All of them were epic and evoked a nostalgia for something long ago while menacing. Shadow Temple had a great creepy atmosphere, especially when you're a kid, but was too easy, the boat part was cool though. Water Temple was just too damn hard (albeit I have it memorized now) and the first three dungeons are a lot of fun, but are really primers.

But the things I remember are the little moments, like waking up, the opening cinematic, Link coming upon Hyrule Field or most of its locals for the first time, when you first ride and escape with Epona, the minigames, etc. the game is so rich with great moments. Video game perfection.

Couldn't have said it better my friend. I thought the water temple was hard too. I just loved fishing and just exploring Hyrule.

I hated Majora's Mask because of the 3-day thing. I always felt rushed having to do stuff and I want to take my time in Zelda games.

The water temple in any Zelda game is absolutely hair-pullingly frustrating. Ugghhh. Love them all, though. My boyfriend and I just finished Majora's Mask again, with the Fierce Deity's Mask :3

A few great ads. Anyone remember these?:

Ocarina of Time:

AND AN AMAZING MAJORA'S MASK COMMERCIAL I DON'T REMEMBER:

^^ Apparently Nintendo did it before Halo, I guess.

Wow, that brings back memories! haha:wow:

Me too, I hated the 3 day

...You do realize the three day "limit" was just a game mechanic and you could play the game as long you wanted...right?

I mean you had an infinite number of three day cycles, so there was really no need to feel rushed.

At least I know I never felt rushed.

no i know but just the three day concept just bugged me:woot:

No apparently it was a real commercial in 2000, people seem to remember watching it.

For some reason Sheik's updated appearance in Brawl got it in my head that there could be some super secret updated version of OoT on the way.

If that ever happened i'd probably drop dead.
