As long as we have a Zod-filled season I would be okay. I just wouldn't want one episode and end it all.

If only Terence Stamp could play the much younger Zod from the movies then it would be great. What if the writers of Smallville had turned Zod into being Clark's uncle would that have made for a better battle between them? Jor-El banishing his own brother to the Phantom Zone & then Zod returning to take revenge against his brother's bloodline.

Yeah, Zod as the major threat over a season is the way to go.

I have a feeling that that wont happen. The Zod storyline will probably be wrapped up in the first couple of episodes of the season and he wont make an appearance on Earth again until Superman II.

I think the ongoing storyline for next season would be to have Clark trying to deal with the repercussions of him having to reveal himself somewhat to the world.

I think Pat plotted a little outline in another thread.

To be honest I dont see Zod coming to SV unless he is in Lex's body. I mean lets be real if Zod was ever on the show then you would need to call Welling Superman because in order to do Zod right you would need to see the two go all out and fly and everything else power wise that I dont see them doing that. I mean there is no way you can keep a fight between the two quiet unless you have them fight in the middle of no where.

I'm totally confused by this. Isn't Lionel the "Vessel" for Jor-El? So sacrifice the vessel would mean he uses Lionel to get rid of Lexiac or whatever Lex has become.

I know it doesn't look that way from the trailer, but the wording is a little wierd to me.

Lionel is the Oracle for Jor-El.
Lex is the Vessel for Zod.

I think Jor-El wants Clark to use the special knife to kill Lex so that Zod can't be released by using Lex's body.
