I searched and I didn't see a thread for this guy but there definitely should be one. This guy is young, younger than me, and is just beating out Andrew Cuomo in the race for being mayor of New York City. I myself didn't know about him until fairly recently, so I'm gonna do my part here to try and spread awareness to other New Yorkers on the Hype.

I can't believe Cuomo has gotten as far as he did after having to disgracefully step down from being governor of the state.

speaking of which, wouldn't this technically be a downgrade anyway? going from governor of the state to mayor of the city? even if that city is not only the biggest in the state, but the whole country?

I still do give Cuomo 80% for his handling of covid and standing up to Trump during the crisis. It's just that remaining 20% of his is really bad.

yep I remember how he was very passive aggressive against Trump during the pandemic and stopped after the federal government started giving him pushback. but even with that 20%, he was controversial with how he used his power back then
