DC Television Sandman: The Series

I have never read Sandman. But I was maybe going to watch the show in the near future, and then all....this happened and it delayed my desire to watch it.

It's really, really tough with adaptations like these because they aren't the singular work of the disgraced creator. Just goes to show the incredible amount of damage one person can do with their actions.
100%. Everyone who touches the work leaves their influence. And in TV that's so many unheralded fingerprints. It's also an adaptation that started before any of this was known, so there isn't even any side eying to be had (looking at you Harry Potter show).

First season was special. Never imagined an adaptation of Sandman that would actually invoke something in me outside of blinding rage. Also moved by the general fandom's reaction to learning Gaiman is a monster.

I’m going to be honest, I’ve never watched Sandman! Maybe I should now!

Better late than never, I guess. Sucks because of the controversy!
