Why not? Light Sabre's kill zombies quickly and at a safe distance. And the force allows them to keep the zombies at bay as well. Jedi's would be great against zombies!

Yeah in an open area. They could fight in short bursts and retreat. Jedi's could solve the zombie problem fairly quickly IMO.

Jedi are super-calm, their weapon prevents infected blood from spattering, and they have the foresight to dodge blaster bolts. They would be just fine. If they ever got tired, it would be well after the non force-sensitives.

However, Space Marines are the greatest option here. I was tempted to just do that for my sheet.
