Zombies can walk under water though.
Once again...depends on the zombies. I think we need to set a baseline as to what zombies can do in our opinions and set baselines for defensvie and offensive strategies as so.

The baselines were set by George Romero, and in his films Zombies can walk underwater.

But he changes from film to film...his zombies seem to adapt with each movie and each situation. So which Romero film are we talking about?

We only acknowledge the existence of Romero slash Max Brooks zombies in this thread, and those can. :o

When society breaks, I figure no feds will be tracing down ingredients for plastique. It's not so much effort.

No, they're all in canon, the Zombies only adapt because they're featured more and more through out the series.

Land of the Dead: Zombies learn and use weapons and tactics. Can walk under water.

Night of the Living Dead: Slow walkers but very strong

Dawn of the Dead: Fast, contain some memories, and very violent

So which movie would best show the zombies you are talking about?

Since you haven't read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks I'll give you the Reader's Digest version.

  1. Zombies move at an average rate of a step every 1.5 seconds.
  2. Zombies don't posses super sense they just use them more so they're better than ours (like a blind guy).
  3. Zombies can walk under water.
  4. Zombies don't feel pain.

My brother bought that and read it...I guess I could give it a read one weekend. But if you are on a remote island...there is a extremely small chance of them heading out to the island.

Now you have your ****ing Canon mixed up, the remake is not canon!

The official canon in order goes:

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (70s)
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead

Watch all of those, they all have the same features.

I have seen the old Night movie but I never knew Romero remade all of those!

What is that?

Quislings are normal people who have gone insane from the zombie invasion, almost like Stockholm syndrome. They act just like zombies and will even try to eat people. Zombies will attack quislings though.

It's only like 200 pages, I read it in two hours.

I have Dead Rising...would that be an accurate portrayal of the people and the zombie characterisitics?

He did not remake all of those, Zack Snyder remade Dawn of the Dead and is working on remaking Day of the Dead!

Wikipedia is your friend!
