🏈 NFL - Game On

We'll certainly see. Without a QB (and that includes Watson), the Browns will certainly have a shot at one of the top QBs in the draft next year. If they don't go QB, I'd be worried about Garrett. I think Sanders has a very high floor and a pretty good ceiling. Ward had 39 TDs and only 7 ints. He'll make his mistakes, but think if either played on Ohio State, Georgia, etc., people would be seeing them differently.
Truth be told, Stefanski had an 11 win season playing 5 QBs in the same year. So if they get a bridge QB that fits his system, they can rebound. There will be 1 year fixes on the market and if they don't pan out, top pick to get one in 2026 draft. Garrett I know wants to hear what their plan is to win ASAP and he doesn't want to be in a rebuild, but I don't know if he views a rookie as being the fix for the team. Watson won't be a factor next year. Likely spends entire year on the PUP list is my guess. Then gets cut the following off-season

Could be. Hey, maybe Cousins.....😱

I wouldn't be shocked if it was Cousins. He would probably sign for vet minimum like Wilson did for Pittsburgh cause he will be cut from his guaranteed deal, and Stefanski and him already worked together in Minnesota. So I honestly think they get him regardless what they do with the pick

I wonder if the Titans go QB......

Titans I expect to go QB. They gotta sell something lol! At least the Browns have some players to build around, so I could see improvement if they get even average QB play. The Titans got nada

You could have Joe Montana behind the Titans O-Line and it wouldn’t matter. That is not an NFL caliber offensive line.

Good luck to whoever they draft.

Levis could be the next Darnold in 2 years.

Oh, I agree. But they gotta do something to sell tickets lol

There are going to be some crazy specials at Little Caesars during the playoffs...

I wonder if they could get the Giants to trade up. The fear on the part of the Giants is that QBs could go 1-2. I know you don't think much of the top 2 (at least not like a regular year of QBs), but it's entirely possible that the Titans and Browns go QB. That leaves the Giants, who need a QB as bad as anyone does, out in the cold. If I'm the Titans, I would trade down to 3-5 and try to fix that abortion of an offensive line (draft and FA). Henry was lucky he got out of there. Look what he did with the Ravens......

I will go to Little Caesars when they pay me. :funny:

I'm glad for Detroit though. Their fans have been through hell and back. Couple that with all the really bad injuries they've had and they deserve everything they get (as long as it's good). I really thought they were too beat up to defeat the Vikes, but they put a beat down on them.

If I am the Browns, I hope Titans go QB. Then I field calls from teams who want to jump the Giants. Then I use that to force the Giants to trade with me, this way I can still draft 3rd and get extra picks. Thus making sure I get whoever I wanted.

Bet Titans fans are thinking along similar lines

I wonder if there a physically unable to perform (PUP) clause in his contract. He’s not gonna help them anyway. I wonder if this will push them to go QB. They should just sign him to a 20 year contract and be done with him.

Besides QB, what are the biggest needs the Browns have?

I would say OL, WR, and DL. Isn't there a premiere defensive lineman in the draft this year? Give Myles another beast on the line

Mason Graham and Abdul Carter are considered the best DLs. Graham plays inside and is really quick off the ball. I think the consensus is that Kelvin Banks and Will Campbell project to be the best OTs. At wideout, there's McMillan from AZ and then there's everybody else. He's big (6'5") goes around 210, and is fast enough (I think they estimate about a 4.5).

If ya go WR, someone's gotta get him the ball......Maybe Garner Minshew will be available.....

Or conversely, we will have young weapons ready when the right QB is available. I would rather they have a bunch of weapons than be like Tim Couch where we went "You're our guy, but you have no line and your best weapons are William Green and Kevin Johnson. Enjoy!"
