Can someone explain why so many power rankings have the eagles at #1?

I think it's just merit and being selective of which Week 1 results to put stock into. Truthfully not understanding a lot of the rankings I've seen, especially based on what we saw over the weekend.

I think Green Bay is the #1 team in the NFL right now as well. It's why I picked them to win the Super Bowl. I think the Parsons trade has elevated them to their full potential. That Philadelphia game on Monday night in November is gonna be an awesome watch.

I changed my mind about reserving the right to change my mind about GB.

I think the Cowboys are gonna implode. They are lucky the Giants blew a game they had in hand.

Have you seen the Daniel Jones stats??? I don't think he can keep up THAT level of play, but he may have figured it out.....at last. If I'm a G's fan, I'm not too worried about it and am happy to have Dart for the foreseeable future, but MAN, would I be pissed about the late game D the Giants played against the Cowboys......I think my TV was getting embarrassed by the language I was using late in that game. Not a huge Giants fan (but generally kinda root for them), but I can't STAND the Cowboys. They won a game they should have lost IMO. I think they end up last in the east and it doesn't break my heart to see it happen to Jerry Jones....(EDIT....sorry for the crappy copy and paste job, but I think people will get the gist....)

nobody is saying it since he's been our best player on Defense for 3 yrs now but Dexter Lawrence has been mid for 2 games not to begin the season rumblings he's been frustrated

I dont. Baker was very up and down in Cleveland and a heavy source of drama. I think the experience of being dropped by 3 teams in 1 year humbled him and he came back with a better mentality. I don't think this Baker is in Cleveland

You’re probably right. Stefanski is the best coach Cleveland’s had in quite a while, although that’s a pretty low bar. If he couldn’t turn him around, it’s likely that no one else could and Baker just needed to make the changes on his own.

I dont disagree with this. Stefanski has been best Browns coach for the Browns 2.0 era (post 99), but it's hard to look at the team right now and say that they're trending in the right direction. They're on a league high 8 game losing streak and the offense is just embarrassing, and I think a cleaning of the house might be coming. Which may be for the best given we are likely looking at the Browns picking a QB in the draft. Browns really need to land that next McVay type guy.
