But of the older action series I wouldn't mind getting another entry: I would've really liked another Die Hard. A proper one with a halfway decent director and not that dumb Die Hard: Year One idea.

But with Willis' condition and him retiring that won't happen.

It would be cool to see them do another Die Hard but take it serious... but I got my old man Die Hard movie and that was 16 Blocks.

They should let the Die Hard franchise be. We already have 5 of them, with each sequel being worse than the previous one IMO. None of them could recapture the magic of the first movie.

I always wanted to see a sequel to Cobra.

Funny enough! Some screenwriter that was on the Bret Easton Ellis podcast years and years ago, spoke briefly about pitching a sequel to Stallone, who very calmly and with honesty just didn't get what he was trying to pitch. From my memory, it took place 20 years after the first one. The foreign faction of the 'New Order' sets off a nuclear weapon and kills the 'weak', but those weak become some sort of deformed zombies and mayhem occurs across the planet. He called it a mixture of Mad Max and Night of The Living Dead. You're a disease and I'm the cure.

Die Hard With A Vengeance is almost on the level of the first, imo.

I liked that one too, but the first one had a simplicity to it that the others didn’t have. The plots became intricate and John McClain was suddenly like a superhero instead of an average joe cop.

Yup. For better or worse, her 'Mouse' commitment paved the way for the likes of Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor Joy, and other to get roles, cause she was the 'auteur' it girl for a bit, certainly before the mouse locked her up and paid her lots. Emma Stone and Margot seem to be able to do both on a regular basis, but only them two.

Shyamalan's next flick is confirmed to be an adaptation of 'The Cabin at the End of the World.' Will star Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge, with Rupert Grint and Dave Bautista as villains. Really excited to see how that works out.

He's burned me 2/3 times going to the theater with Glass and especially Old. I'll just wait until it comes to streaming.

I'm rooting for you M. Night, but you don't make it easy at all

On another note, me and my friend were trying to watch Scarface in 4k over the weekend and I just found out...the PS4 Pro can't play 4k Blu Rays?

What kind of poverty machine is this?

Yeah those PS4 pros are big time scams.

I'm glad I got the PS5 and not the digital version.

Yeah luckily I have an Xbox One as well.
But I moved the PS4 for the living room for that reason. So now I guess I'll get an actual 4k blu ray player for the living room. Eventually.

Netflix really wants to rip people off just like cable.

Ahh yes. I would love to pay $15/month for all of 2 Netflix originals I watch regularly, and be subjected to a painstakinng amount of ads every four minutes.

This must have been before WV. She’s big enough now that I think the MCU would wait for her. And smaller films would cast her to help with promotion.

Don't you love it when you go into a movie expecting something super mediocre and it turns out to be much better than you thought? I had that twice today with The Princess and The Valet.
