Mr. & Mrs. Smith show is fire.
I'm pretty much just waiting on The Zone of Interest before finalizing mine. I didn't originally set out to watch all of the 2023 Best Picture nominees but it just kind of happened.I got one more movie before I make my top 10/rankings official.... and no I don't have time to wait for Wim Wenders to release his goddamn movie.

I'm not doing Maestro though.
La Vie En Rose would probably be my favourite, Cotillard was unknown to me, but made me an instant fan. Other than that, I dunno. Rocket Man was good, but it felt kinda weird since Elton John is still alive and kicking. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that biopics "have" to be made some years after its objects passing.Which ones do you like? I love Rocketman. That one did everything right that Bohemian Rhapsody did wrong the year before. Haven't seen either in a while. La Vie en Rose is good too, Marion Cotillard is excellent as Édith Piaf.
The upcoming Amy Winehouse biopic looks mediocre based on the trailer, but I'd like to be surprised.
I finished Mr. and Mrs. Smith show . So much damn fun. I hope we get a second season, but if not, this will do. Also! @Da-Scribe them wardrobe changes on Glover are fire. Had to look up a few but them price tags are in a different bracket. I did almost hit pay on the peacoat tho.

"I no longer would have to travel to locations. If I wanted to be in the snow in Colorado, it’s text. If I wanted to write a scene on the moon, it’s text, and this AI can generate it like nothing. If I wanted to have two people in the living room in the mountains, I don’t have to build a set in the mountains, I don’t have to put a set on my lot. I can sit in an office and do this with a computer, which is shocking to me."
Later, he also adds, "I just used AI in two films that are going to be announced soon. That kept me out of makeup for hours. In post and on set, I was able to use this AI technology to avoid ever having to sit through hours of aging makeup."
Perry in the interview does express worry about potential jobs lost and calls for a united front to protect workers who would be affected by the rise of AI. He also talks about having conflicted priorities, stating, "So I’ve got two sides here to this thing. For me, I’m looking at my business and the bottom line, but I’m also very concerned about all the people that I have trained and bought up in this industry."
I'll be seeing Dune 2 in IMAX tomorrow at an AMC. If a new Kidman promo isn't attached to it I'm walking out in protest before the movie starts.
As someone who's seen that ad at least 12 million times since the pandemic...
