yes...they are good...but we have a chance against them...although now everyone has "something going on" so if i dont go they have to forfeit...hopefully one more says they are busy and then i can go in peace

alright guys...situation at hand...I live 4 hours away from austin texas...tomorrow they are having a screening ( http://www.myspace.com/blackcurtain )
i have a basketball game at 7:30...but i play limited minutes due to surgery on my knee...now the situation is...skip the game (and disappoint my brother who is the coach) and drive 4 hours to wait another 2 hours to see watchmen and then drive back...or play the game and wait painfully until the release...which one should i do?

I had a similar situation a couple weeks ago. I had the chance to see an early screening of The Road and skip my last Volleyball game or miss the screening and go to the game. In the end, I skipped the game and went to the screening. I felt bad, but then again, it was The Road.

i went to the austin screening, man.
i'm sorry it ended up lame and there was no game... the screening was incredible, but i'm sure you don't need to hear that.

Watchmen feaver has begun. I watched the G4 special, then flipped through some channels, for some reason I landed on Rachel Maddow saying...

"...Like in comic books, you know how Dr. Manhattan has to keep....." I was like WTF! Awesome! Love her, or hate her, she's a Watchmen fan!

I just brought my ticket to see Watchmen on 3/6. I discovered that my local theatre (which is inside a mall) recently built IMAX screen, so I purchased that instead of regular screen. It's more expensive ($12 vs $6), but I think the experience will worth the extra admission price.
