UPDATED 7/14/10:
- A really annoying-seeming character named "Nancie" who has a son is in this episode. She comes to work at the Daily Planet, and she seems to be filling in while Lois is... where? We don't know. At one point she listens on the radio to someone named "Godfrey," which could be a reference to Glorious Godfrey of Darkseid lore.

More hints of Apokolips.

I'm about 93.7% sure that this ISN't about the Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-enforcement Division. :oldrazz:

What? a 6.3% chance Marvel will let DC use their S.H.I.E.L.D. characters? lol thats way to high!

couple more spoilers...

A really annoying-seeming character named "Nancie" who has a son is in this episode. She comes to work at the Daily Planet, and she seems to be filling in while Lois is... where? We don't know. At one point she listens on the radio to someone named "Godfrey," which could be a reference to Glorious Godfrey of Darkseid lore. The radio "Godfrey" has a thing against "the hero menace," much like he did in the 1980's Legends comic book series.
- A character from the comics who works at the Daily Planet and at one point had a young son is Cat Grant. Could "Nancie" be a "Cassie/Zatanna, Melissa/Maxima" like diversion?
- The episode also includes a modern day cowboy named Liam who's gunning after Clark Kent - and a woman with the ability to teleport.

Hmmm if Cat Grant is coming back, doesn't that mean they need to get the same woman who played her in "Crossfire"?
Cowboy Liam = Vigilante
Lady who teleports = Lady with a BoomTube device

The Cowboy Liam part seems like they're just throwing out fake spoilers to throw us off.

Yeah probably but knowing Smallville he will end up have 2 lines in the whole episode. Or he could be Lobo...

I would lose my **** if Lobo showed up.

Vigilante (voiced by Nathan Fillion) from the Justice League cartoon.

Love the title. I'm hoping it is in reference to his \S/. :D

They'd have to go back to "The Red/Blue Blur" again on the front of the Daily Planet headlines! Until of course it finally reads Superman.

Awesome.

Emil Hamilton will be back too. Always nice to see a BSG castmember get more work.

Rumor: there might be a casting call for a "Shayera Hol", maybe/maybe not for this episode, but for this season.

P.S. Just in case: the "quotes" were a joke, y'know.

cool title for the second episode. Cant wait to see where this goes. Also interesting they may be bringing in that godfrey character, also that hawkman is returning. Now if we are actually seeing hawkgirl man i really would love if they have lexi domig(spelling) play her. I know folks made a comment about it last season and even shanks did to saying his wife for role or saying he wouldnt want her to do it or what not. But i think it would be nice.

Didn't see this posted here yet so ....

UPDATED 7/22/10: EW's Ausiello has confirmed that "Nancie" is indeed Cat Grant. Though we can't confirm it, a blonde is either close to or has already gotten the role...
- Apparently the "Liam" character is also a code for someone else. By the way, he's not a cowboy, just acts like one - and he has a bullet with Clark's name written on it.

Is it a kryptonite laced bullet again ? :whatever:

He may be one of Darkseids's lackeys.
