10 reasons why Final Fantasy VI is the best Final Fantasy of all time.

big ****ing whoop. sephiroth has a history with main character, killed his love interest, and further ****ed with his mind and took away his identity. plus he has a huge ass sword. kefka laughs and prances around like a panzy. sephiroth has more sex appeal as well. you know you find those clear green eyes irresistable.

Everything you say about the game is now officially void because you don't even know the ****ing story. :whatever:

elaborate (and don't roll your eyes at me, mister. i thought we were just having fun. dont' turn this into a piss fest by being a cockadoodledouche ;))

Thanks to Sephiroth, we'll never be able to take an RPG villain seriously again. Tetsuya Nomura's discovery that leather-daddy albinos are inherently evil means that Sephiroth has become the template (and fashionplate) for the RPG villain: effeminate, ridiculous and driven by obscure motives. It's pretty sad that FFVI's Kefka literally dressed like a clown, yet represented a far more significant threat than his successor. Kefka broke the world in his quest for raw power, then ruled over the ruined remains with divine fury; Sephiroth wanted a hug from mommy and babbled a lot. Advantage: Kefka.

There you go. THat pretty much sums it up right there. Next main villian.

Cloud had nothing to do with Sephiroth, as it was all Zach. Which you obviously missed in the game, which was one of, if not the most important aspect of the storyline.

The whole game Cloud was set to be some badass awesome guy, when it was really some dude he wished he could be and basically just took his identity.

how is kefka any different? at least sephiroth didn't laugh like a fairy and dress like one as well. i'd choose leather over bright green and red circus clothing any day for my main villian. so what was kefka's motivation? was he just crazy or what? what connection did he have to any of the main characters that gave the story more depth? but he didn't cover any of that in his little rant, so I guess that means you don't have the answers either.

you're stupid. obviously you're the one that misinterpreted things. sephiroth still set his hometown ablaze, and continually ****ed with his mind throughout the game. cloud was there in the flashback, was he not? he was still the one that rescued tifa and stabbed sephiroth. sephiroth still killed aerith, whom cloud cared for deeply.

yeah, cloud was set up to be some awesome badass dude, but then he had his "badass" handed to him and his world turned upside down. it's called a ****ing plot twist, you idiot. it made the story darker. it ****ed with your mind. sorry if it's not all ****s and giggles like you want it to be.

What was Kefkas motivation? I havn't played the game in almost 7 years, but I'm pretty sure it's because he was just bat**** insane. He had no real reason other than he just wanted power. Though it might of been something like he was ridiculed by his peers or something emo like that.

But what relation did Sephiroth have to any of the characters (other than Tifa) in the game? I mean, seriously.

You're trying to compare setting a town ablaze and killing someone that the main character knew for less than (interpreted) a month to destroying the world as they knew it and nearly everyone and everything along with it? And you're calling me stupid?

Hah.

it's the little things that count. any villian can take over the world.

If any villian can take over the world, then why has there been very little in RPG history that ever have?

Substance D said:
nah, they were pretty much the **** back then. all 2 of my friends will agree. and if they weren't the ****, then there woud be no point in using them for the ads.

It'd still be "the ****" if they were GOOD-it was new. Nobody looks at it now and thinks it looks good.

Kefka took over the world and reshaped hit on his insane clown image... Sephy-sama didn't take the world as avessel to screw more worlds with his mommy... In fact he got beat by a wannabe badass who dresses in drag... TWICE!!! once on the wannabe's head, and the other in Advent Children...
I love FFVII, but compared to the awesomeness that is FFVI, VII just falls short... but Cloud pwns the EMO River Phoenix/Gackt wannabe...

Meh, Edea is still my best FF villian. She may not truly have been evil, but for those first two discs where she was, she had presence the likes I've never seen in another FF villian.

yeah! I hear ya... when
Ultimecia showed up I was begging for Edea to become evil again... KURSED SeeDS

I will say this, though. The boss battle music in VII beats the boss battle music in VI [and I'm not talking about Dancing Mad v. One Winged Angel--Dancing Mad would destroy it.]

Dancing Mad sucks. Kefka sucks too. Worst villain in FF history. He brought down the game...which still rocks.

How do you figure Kefka brought down the game?

He had one goal. To become a god and shape the world as he see fit. He was absolutely bat**** insane. He was funny, camphy, and heartless. He didn't try to be a complete badass like EVERY OTHER MAIN VILLIAN IN ANY GAME EVER. He was just him.

I loved the FF6. The opera scene. Sabin's blitzes. The first time Tera uses magic in front of the guys. The esper system. But FF7 is FF7.

Absolutely not. Soundtracks? C'mon. One Winged Angel. Lifestream. Aerith's Theme. Tifa's Theme. Cosmo Canyon. Just the existence of Gold Saucer is friggin genius.

He is also overrated.

Golbez from FF IV is still one of my favorite villians from the FF universe. He was the Darth Vader of Final Fantasy.

Had a history with the main hero, kidnapped, destroyed, killed, all in the name of the great Zeromus.:cmad: :woot:

Sepheroth and Kefka have nothing on him.

Plus Seifer from FF VIII was a great rival, since he wasn't really villian status. :O

In my eyes, FF7 is second only to Grandia. I'd put FF6 at 4th, behind Lunar: Silver Star Story.

Ah Lunar, Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue were two of the best RPGs of all time.

Truth be told, I enjoyed "Legend of the Dragoon" much better than "Final Fantasy VII."

Dragoon was one of the most underrated RPGs ever.:woot:
